Did your sim always dream of a science career, but was not allowed because of the lack of equipment for a medieval Science Centre? Now you can comfort them. The Peteran Monks started a new Monastery in the desert, with a strong profile in alchemy science and maybe with some drops of witch craft... (or, is it visitors from space?)
HOW TO REPLACE THE EA SCIENCE LAB
How to place a custom Science Lab: either travel to the Science Lab with any sim, using this mod by Twelfth Doctor (Sims) or, just let your scientist sim go to work, then enable free build cheat and place this lot from your library or the gallery.
(I uploaded the lot there, search for Peteran, but remember to check box for CC allowed.)
You can of course use this lot anywhere, as a Residence lot or a Library or whatever.
New, fancy uniforms for your medieval alchemists and mad scientists.
I found the original of this Peteran Monastery on the Gallery, made by mmsjr4 - and decided to use it as a base for a medieval Peteran Science Centre.

The deco I added around the lot - walls and towers - are added with T.O.O.L and sadly enough they are not included in the tray file. But its not hard to use T.O.O.L - my plan is to fill the area with trees and orchards and sheds with animals.
Included with the objects zip-file is also a file with hiders for the hideous tech deco around the Science Lab Lot.

Try redownloading? Its a square lot so should not be a problem if you placed it the "wrong direction". Also, did you download from here or on the Gallery? Maybe try that version if not, my name there is Ingeli.
Yes, I wish I could share pictures, it is like the floors and the front of the building is missing.

Yes I have that installed. It is not the textures but the actual structure is missing. I might take out the object hider and see if that might be the issue.
Hey there, I love this so so much. When I tried to place it today half of the walls and floors vanished. I made sure that move objects wason. Is there anything I can do to make sure this doesn't happen again?
