Which character/content % do you prefer?
Let's continue with polls.
Creating scenes require time and energy. I have a lot of ideas, and suggestion about choices, directions to go, and many of them require different version or direction of the same character.
The thing is, I can create scenes on a fixed pace/rhythm. Doing a variant for a character takes same time of doing content for an other character.
so, the "% of the content" is like, in the total game when you see the total amount of scenes and animations, the amount given to a character.
__
Few character but high % gives move different scenes, and possible variants of the character, different endings, different development.
For example the woman can be a dominant version, a gentle motherly version, depending on actions, more sl*tty etc...
Development of relationship could be also more long, but you could feel more for the character in return.
However, less characters = less chance you find one you like.
Lot of character make the game a lot more diversified and you will find "the one".
However I would have to make content for all characters so for the same amount of time/work, each character will have less content proportionally. It can happen if there is simple plots for everybody and development not too long.
In general, few character will be more story driven, choices, variety of positions, actions, and more evolutions.
More character will be more about a map exploring, finding stuff, doing individual quests etc... And quicker evolution (you reach sex quicker also)
The point is to find a good balance, I make this poll to see where you find this balance on average.

The best was confined with goddess. 4 characters, every character in this game was great.
Too many characters destroys a game, in my opinion. Fewer is always better.
As much as I enjoy having agency in a game and making choices, I also don't like missing out on content. So if you were to create a path for one character, where with one choice she is dominating and one choice she is submissive, I would feel bad because then I will never see the scenes for one of those paths, especially since you would be putting lots of time into making scenes I will never see.
Biting off more than you can chew, there's no need to cram in too many roles.
gonna take centuries if we spread it over 4 i’m sorry might only be like two scenes per person
Just Naj really. 👀
No matter how many characters you working on but process it’s matter keep up the good work
Now i know i'm going to mention anothet game, but serenity from n2thefire is like the black sheep of avn's. That game has almost something like 10 characters, but even though he is quite new to the whole avn's he still made two really good games. So yeah between 3 and 6 is the magic number but sometimes there will be a miracle like with serenity.
If its between 3 or 4 I'll say 4, if its between 4 or 5 I'll say 5. But if its between 2 or 3 I'll say 2. The amount of differene in depth of a character has ever diminishing disparity, but I think 5 is where a good cutoff would be, 6 at most. Otherwise there's nothing wrong with DLC/post-game content with side characters if fans really liked a character a lot.
5 is a solid amount. Marina can get a little less percentage imo hahaha but I woukdnt be mad if he treats
4 characters is good enough i think, having more can be a decision for dlc maybe
That kind of game design would be perfect for a one character game. Imagine you pick a timid woman and make her a sex athlete or a cold woman into a lovely one... People don't realize how quantity hurts individuality. Even now, I feel like the characters from CwG were underdeveloped and underused. That's the price we pay for quantity. Ero continues to be a single dev, thus it takes longer to deliver good content.
I don't care if it is 3 or 10, so long as it's not the same body type made over and over again. You can have fewer characters if they are more diverse.
i guess this all depends on what you are trying to do.
3-5 is a good number. it allows for depth with a bit of diversity. i'd go more with 4-5, but 3 isn't bad either if there's a specific trio you want to put forward. another option is to have a small main cast and have smaller back ground characters with little depth and are mostly there for random-ish sex scenes.
I agree as well, it’s immersive as well as too many characters just somehow degrades the fun. 3-5 is a good margin to maintain the consistency.
4-5 gives a good, diverse range of character/body types I think. But more is good, even if its not evenly spread
So for CWG what was the character/content ratio? I think that amount was decent and fair
I think the magic number is between 3 and 5, more gets too spread and less than three makes the possibility of not getting any character you like or getting too stale and repetitive
This is the way. Going all in on one or two characters threatens to make the game dull if your faves are not being spotlighted. Having six or more makes it all feel too shallow. I do genuinely believe that this is correct, but also... #JusticeForNaj lmfao
3 or 4 is the sweet spot for being able to fit most sexual fetishes without losing the emotional attachment
This might be a hot take but I kinda prefer getting the entire character storyline I liked that with Miji we got a decent amount of her story all at once to fully appreciate the character compared to bits and pieces we’ve gotten with someone like Rosa. I guess for me it feels for fulfilling when we get an update. Obv it’s risky if I get a character I don’t like as much like Jasmina or Marina but I still can appreciate the update since we are getting a lot of content even if it’s for someone I don’t care for. #Najisbestgirl
Less is more sometimes. Too many characters and there's not enough meaningful content between them. A game with 10 characters, as an example, can't reliably give each character equal treatment. Having side characters with less content would be better in that case.
