Well, this collaboration made me go sign up for Madalynne's patreon, so consider that a success 😆 I LOVE patterns like these that can be used as scrap busters just as well as they can be used to showcase extra special fancy fabrics. I'm looking forward to making this, and I like the idea of matching gingham with more luxe materials. I have some pink gingham and black burnout velvet stretch lace that I think needs to be mashed up. I would love to see a modern corset pattern that has attention paid to making it wearable and less visible under more standard current clothing.

Would I be able to sew this with simple stretch cotton fabric instead of mesh and lace? I love the look of this with lace but I'd like to have some everyday panties as well and these look so perfect
Yes! You can use a stretch cotton fabric instead of mesh or lace. Since the pattern was drafted for a non stretch lace and stretch cotton is a stretch (sorry to be redundant), you may have to size down.
Ooo, I hope we can get a garter belt pattern too one day! I've wanted to make one for years but can never find a pattern in my size!
