I love the idea of making vintage lingerie and that you are doing collabs with other creators. After downloading the pattern I decided to purchase Maddie’s book and a couple of kits, including the ones for the charm panties and matching bra. They finally arrived today and the quality of the materials is amazing! I can’t wait to get started. Living in Australia, access to different creators and supplies can be a bit limited, and buying online can be a bit daunting because you just never know if what you are paying for is worth the money. So when I see a collaboration like this from a creator I already love and trust, I can be pretty certain that I can trust who they are partnering with. Thanks so much Gertie and the Charm team! Another job well done!

i would love a vintage style bra with modern comfort. so a bullet bra shape, softened a bit, with some stretch instead of stiffness (no wires). a longline option would be a dream. i do not see myself making full on merry widows. i have a hard time finding the materials and would rather make a dress with my sewing time when i can just buy a merry widow. i cannot buy a comfortable bullet bra. the brands i used to rely on are no longer in stores, and their straps were always too wide anyway. i'm small up top, so i don't need anything industrial. i just want something cute! i have a collection of vintage satin bras, but sadly, they're too small.

I am also unhappy about having to get the pattern from another site and go through a checkout process for it, and a confusing one at that resulting in a strangely permissioned gdrive link, everyone's second favorite malware command & control? I’m super excited!! I’ve used one of Maddie’s patterns before (the Lawren bodysuit) and it was actually the pattern that helped me understand my particular torso quirks. I would LOVE a variation on the Monet Merry Widow that can be worn strapless. Something like warners?

I was off work today and impulsively made a pair today out if scraps. I LOVE how they turned out!! I spent months adjusting another pattern and lost motivation, but these were Soo close (will just lower back an inch next time!) I experimented using crotchet cotton trim sewed together, and it worked surprisingly well. I will definitely try it again. The game changer was using fabric glue though!! Thank you Maddie!! I used a glue stick, not spray, but made everything way less fiddly.

I own many of Maddie's patterns so this was a dream collab for me. Since I already have the Monet merry widow, a longline bra (with or w/out straps) would be perfection. Thanks again for the hard work. Love seeing two of my faves link up!

If not, I’ll take that as a sign that it’s time for me to buy the Monet Pattern—I’ve had my eye on it since it was introduced!

I’ve been considering making my own lingerie for a while — even have bra making supplies, so happy to see this collab, even if high waisted panties aren’t for me (life long aversion to elastic at the waist). Definitely in favor of additional patterns in this sphere.

Lovely pattern, I'm in the glamor tier at that level we a get a free extra pattern on the 15th of every month?. Why is this pattern not available for me? Unless this isn't the same free monthly pattern? Or the monthly free pattern has changed? Kinda confused.

So glad I didn't buy a panty pattern a few weeks ago! It was in my cart for days and I decided to skip it. I did buy a bra pattern, though, and I've been buying up bra making supplies. Where is the pattern for the panties? When I follow your link, I have to register and give over my personal information to a different maker. Not really happy. This is your second time, with the etoile skirt being the first. I joined *and paid* for Gunnar’s site only to discover I’d have to pay even more to get a pattern. I quit after giving over $5 to him. Frankly, I probably would never make that skirt as drafted. Skirts are not difficult and I can use another or flub it, but it looks like this is becoming a habit. Why am I a Patreon member if I have to involve other makers? I considered leaving after I paid Gunner and you never even warned that joining his Patreon would not get anyone the pattern without giving over even more money. I’m not happy with the direction of this Patreon at all. Is this going to last much longer? There are other makers on Patreon with patterns that perhaps would better suit me going into the future. Perhaps you should rethink whether these collaborations are in the best interests of your followers. Perhaps I should suspend my membership until I see where this trend is going.
