So, what now?

First off, that's a screenshot of the next work-in-progress update to this mod.

Now, that being said;

The BeamNG.Drive developers have recently teased their own volumetric clouds, and that's had a lot of people curious as to the future of this project. I wanted to say that I am not stopping development on this mod, and plan to continue to support this mod and work on it for the foreseeable future.

BeamNG implementing their own volumetrics isn't inherently a bad thing for this mod, so long as they do not lock out the ability to modify/replace the skies. When that update drops, I will be working to allow this mod and that new version of BeamNG to coexist in harmony, hopefully providing higher quality visuals than the base game would naturally offer.
