Progress Update: 02/25/26
Hello everyone! 👋
Working on some final testing before updating the public links for Row Crop System and associated files. The main thing I'm doing right now is the multiplayer testing, which takes a little bit of time to sit and do.
New version will have quite a few changes, including more accurate yield and seeding rate reporting, ability to reset fields with weeders, increased resolution PDA maps (so you can actually see the rows on the map), and a few other things I will mention at release time.
RCS Setup Prefab, Riverbend Test Map, and PF Config will also be getting updates to the public links as well. Mostly just a few bug fixes and updates in those areas.
I'm also working more on Foliage Destruction to get that moved up to the next tier, as well as getting the first version of the FS25 State Controller up and running. The reason I'm focusing more on State Controller is because a Moisture System mod was announced a little while back and I want to wait and see what that is before doing anything there.
I have some Unit Convert updates just about ready as well. I have decided to work a bit on a menu system, even though that didn't get voted on. The reason is, some of these things would be a lot easier to set up if you could do them in game. Outside of working on a menu, the next version of UC should include the animal and shop screen conversions.
I know I'm forgetting things. It's a ton to keep up with, while at the same time answering questions and such on the Discord. I've had a few reports recently with the RCS, as well as people still on the current public version having issues that are fixed in the current beta. So, I decided to double back and get that squared away first, before diving back into the newer stuff.
There's really no getting around that. The more scripts you have out, and the more those scripts do, the more you have to go back and manage from time to time. The good news is, the whole RCS public line should be seeing a pretty substantial update very soon here.
More as I get more finished. I'll keep you posted!
