Coming Soon: Storage Dryer Update

Hello everyone 👋 Based on quite a few requests, I'm adding a few things to the Moisture System, specifically with the storage dryers. Part of this is also in preparation for the new State Controller.

In this video, I'm drying 3 different fill types, but they are all drying at different speeds. The reason is because of the upcoming changes. First, while corn and wheat have the same moisture, the corn storage is a lot more full. This means corn will take longer to dry. Second, canola and wheat are both at the same fill level, but canola takes longer to dry because it has more moisture.

What does it all mean? It means there are now more options for dryer setups. Without configuration, all storages will dry more slowly at higher fill level and moisture. Storage will also decay faster at higher fill level and moisture. On top of that, each placeable and storage can be set up via xml to be more or less efficient at holding and drying specific fill types.

When State Controller is finished, you'll be able to put things where they belong and only dry what you want to when you want to dry it. The placeable in this video will also be released with the new State Controller to give examples on how to set everything up (if you want to).

Keep in mind, the more options the longer it takes to tweak and adjust and test everything to make sure it's all working. The new storage dryers will go into testing very soon here, with an itch update to follow.

I have a bit to do with the new state controller yet for the reasons I mentioned in my last post. It's getting there, though. I expect that will go into testing relatively soon as well.
