Askebro son of Brolaf
Vinland Saga is one of the most visual stunning shows I've watched, I can already see you tearing up at certain scenes. also... Thorfinn: Tohr-finn /// Thors: Tohrs /// Thorkell: Tohr-kell
also ashelahd
Such a good episode this shows about to kick off you'll see soon why this isn't a shonen, but rather a senien.
thorfinns voice actor in this episode went offfffffffffff
one of the best performances ever not gonna lie
Vikings are pirates but specifically Nordic (Iceland, Norway, Denmark, etc.)
Luffy would be disappointed in Askeladd as a pirate 😆 Cheating bastard!
Askeladd was NOT joking at all when he asked Thors to be their leader. I love their whole interaction
Thors was still trying to find the answer he was seeking and teaching Thorfinn, If you watch carefully Askkeladd reacts differently than his men, body language and facial expressions tell a much deeper story in this series than others and this is definitely a scene people come back to dissect all kinds of lessons and threads.
Bjorn means “bear” in whatever language it originates in. I guess it fits that he’d go on a rampage lol. RIP our dad.
Thors throwing the sword in the water was him basically saying that although he won, his willing to let them kill him as long as they honor their word and let everyone else leave. rip to an OG
the berserker mushroom is thought to be a real thing that some Vikings used to take before battle. But they also don't know which psychedelic mushroom would cause that kind of rage that grew in those areas. Also rip thors :( the absolute goat
Another banger episode!
