Yuya Takahashi did so many scenes in this episode, his work has the thicker line work that the Buu saga had, which is his inspiration. Dude is such a great animator and artist

I really love the darker more maroon kind of color they use for SSG here. In general, most of the different colored Super Saiyan forms have a certain color that just looks best to me. The others would be the platinum blonde they used to use for Super Saiyan back in DBZ and the lighter teal they occasionally use for SSB when the aura is down.

All the bricks of the arena are made from Kachi Katchin steel, which is a very dense, tough and hard material, harder than Universe 7's Katchin steel which broke the Z Sword, but because the fighters are really that strong they are able to chip away at the "indestructible" ring when they fight,

It's worth knowing in the manga version Frieza did end up going after the Sayians and fighting them in his golden form but then kale goes beserk and literally elimates 4 whole universes by herself.

so basically, Kale has 3 transformations, -the standard Super Saiyan transformation ( which debuted in episode 101) -The Legendary Super Saiyan/Berserk Form that makes her look like the original Broly and she gets the green hair and rampages -and lastly Kale has her Mastered Berserk Form, which by far is her strongest form

I actually really liked Kale by the end of this episode, she grew on me, she was annoying at the beginning of the arc with her lack of confidence and lack of combat ability, but I like that she had an actual character arc and became a strong, confident person by the end of this episode

under normal circumstances, the length of the Potara fusion for mortals is 1 hour, but in rare situations where the fused character created is too powerful, like SSJ Blue Vegetto, the length of the fusion can drastically decrease

The art in this episode was clean af. And Kale's from is just called Super Saiyan berserk, she's the Broly of universe 6

in the manga they stole the earrings and the kai & champa didn’t even realize they were missing it was hilarious .

Kale form's is THE "Legendary" Super Saiyan form, the very same that Broly took from his movies, and the legend that Vegeta kept going on about being "the ultimate destructive force who lives only for battle". Between Kale and Broly, it seems kind of inconsistent how strong the form actually is, it's only really relative to the strength of the people around them. For example, Kale held off Goku Blue earlier in the tourney (although he was probably holding back) whereas here, she was about to be defeated by him in God, so who knows. All you need know is that it's just a much stronger version of regular Super Saiayn that, more often than not, causes the user to go ballistic upon achieving it.
