Strikes on YouTube
Hey Patreon peeps, just want to keep y'all in the loop as well. I received 3 copyright strikes on YouTube last night which puts my channel at risk of deletion and doesn't allow me to upload for over 2 weeks/until the strikes are resolved - I just want to let you guys know that uploads will not pause here on Patreon while I try to sort that out on YouTube. Thank you all so much for your support, as it's scary situations like this that make me very grateful for your monetary support here on Patreon <3

nooo we gon get thru dis
I'm so sorry you gotta deal with this Jack 😟, it sucks. We've got your back, though! ❤ I'm glad my subscription makes a difference, I'm certainly not going anywhere! Your content brings me a lot of joy, and that won't change. It seems so backwards that YouTube's copyright system offers so little protection for their creators, I don't get it. Why does YouTube feel the need to accommodate these corrupt companies this much? This is just plain harassment of creators. They are knowingly abusing the strike system against content that CLEARLY abides by fair use. I'm sure you know this already, but you have done absolutely nothing wrong and do not deserve this. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck as always! ❤

This is one of the reasons I started following you (and GOT) on Patreon. Love your content and YT is very inconsistent with what and who it benefits.
I think its best if you give up anime reactions on youtube if you don't want your channel deleted
That's a bit extreme. That's an important source of income to just "give up", and of course all the people who watch his youtube reactions would be left with nothing. If that was the only way for the channel to survive, sure. But it seems through appeals and dropping the uploading of certain series that get excessively striked Jack has repeatedly kept the channel alive. It's just sad Jack has to deal with this crap to keep his channel alive, it's not fair at all.
Just saw this post on your YT channel and dang what assholes they are cuz if any of you guys watches Heisuten, then you guys know how he is able to post full screen One Piece reactions without getting copyright striked while this shit happens to Jack even tho he didn't post full screen reactions while watching Naruto
I doubt anyone is truly safe. It seems these companies tend to pick and switch targets regularly, with no clear reasons as to who they pick. They do not seem to care what form the reaction takes, or how much the screen is showing. They just attack people arbitrarily. 🤷♂️
Patreon still up we eating good still , hope the channel gets running soon though
Yeah lol😂
Sorry to hear that Jack, I hope it gets sorted 🤞
goddamn that sucks, prob striking off ur titles again, good luck o7 feelsbadman
Shuesha is not playing around anymore. I heard they're after everyone even manga readers. One Piece is risky to post on there
fricc youtube🖕
I hope this is resolved, good luck. Out of curiosity, what were the series that got striked?
Shippuden
Good luck man and don't overdo yourself trying to both provide content and resolve the issue. You deserve the support either way ! ✊
that's awful. hope it's resolved sooner than later. stay positive jack 🫡
Aww that sucks Jack. Glad that we can give you some reassurance when stuff like this happens.
What content was getting strikes?
Just random 3 yr+ old Naruto reactions
How does this keep happening?
To some extent, it seems pretty random sometimes. I mean I've even been struck here on Patreon, where all I have is a timer on screen haha
