Remember when Garp revealed Dragon's name to Luffy, there was a shot of the family: Garp, Dragon, Luffy. You said "Where is Ace in all this?? Why is he being left out??" Well...

As others have already mentioned, I'd strongly encourage you to stop other anime reactions and instead focus on this arc, Jack. Lots of little pieces come together and things drastically change in each episode, in contrast to the latest arcs in which you can miss 10 consecutive episodes and still perfectly follow the storyline.

Yes, Shiki the Golden Lion IS the same pirate that broke out of Impel Down. If you want to know more about him and his backstory you can watch the 10th One Piece Film (Strong World) and the accompanying OVA (Episode 0).

I don't know if its obvous here but it should be considering there has been confirmation about Luffy's Father, but the largest thing behind this reveal is that Ace is not biologically Luffy's Brother, but rather carries the blood of the King of the pirates which also means that Gold Roger is not luffy's Father. So two seperate families. Feel free to let me know if this is to much and ill delete the comment but I think its all been explained at this point.

Oh my goodness I have been looking forward to these episodes!!! The biggest bomb drop of the show! Also the Whitebeard and Allies entrance is amazing! Jack, this is going to be INSANE. I remember how much these two episodes shocked everyone. A lot of people who got to this part in the story were completely unprepared for this reveal. The rest, who had figured out that Ace was related to Roger years ago, up until this point believed that he and Luffy were half brothers; sharing the same mother but having different fathers after Dragon was stated to be Luffy's father and thus solving the debate on which parent they might have shared. I was in the second group of people and I very vividly recall the feeling of trying to process this information and the fact that the brothers were not brothers by blood at all.
