I dont remember this arc going this hard lol watching it with you like ive never seen it

I know this is way after this reaction came out but there was an extra 2 min scene before the timestamp on episode 825 which shows the full conclusion of Luffy's fight with the big dude. It also shows him crawling to the spot next to the tree where Sanji finds him. Not a big deal or anything but it was nice for continuity. If you're curious it starts at 1:37 and goes on until 3:57.

while this arc focused on Sanji a lot. For me, I think Luffy is the one that truly shined in this arc. I absolutely ADORE Luffy, and these episodes made me appreciate him even more.

I love the parallels between luffy and sora eating food that doesn't look good/that was messed up from the rain and saying that it was delicious

Awesome reactions as usual, Jack 👍. These 2 episodes go unbelievably hard. Yeah, 1st episode I was crying like a b*tch with Sanji and Luffy making up. I'm not lying nor tryna deny it. That shit was beautiful, nuff said. 2nd episode was beautiful too with the crew backing Sanji 110% despite the huge danger of tangling with an emperor. Not only are they determined to put their lives on the line to save Sanji, but they are also determined to put their lives on the line for Sanji's personal mission and didn't question it at all. This goes far beyond just rescuing him and just further shows the amazing bond between the Straw Hats. The Capone Bege backstory was great, the reveal that he was going to kill Big Mom was phenomenal, and Jimbei was the perfect one to bridge the groups and suggest an alliance. The cherry on top is the 🔥HARD🔥 scene at the end with the two groups meeting. Oda cooked, as usual. He always manages to impress you in new ways.

the way he STARED at that picture of bege and luffys meetup and did not notice ceaser

"Where is his castle?" Bro he ate the castle fruit remember

KATAKURIIIII!!!!

It's about to pop off 👒🍰🏰💀🤵👰

Can’t wait for the next episode featuring beige lol

The buildup to the wedding is imo the best build up in one piece it's so hype

HERE WE GO

Is that my boy Gangster Gastino!?

I'm used to watching One Piece in German but for this watch-along, I'm watching in Japanese and it is weird hearing Katakuri in Japanese and I'm actually way less excited for him to be honest. xD His German voice actor, Mario Gavrilis is incredible and one of rather few characters who sound better in the dub than original. You should definetely check that out. (And please make a video guessing character's voices in other dubs.)

lol I don’t think he noticed at the end

Katakuri is the ultimate Himothy.

Katakuri arrives XD
