[PATREON Content of the Day! - April 17]

"Bandera" means flag in Spanish so that's why it's part of the name of Diamante's attack

I definitely wouldn't call Sai VS Baby 5 one of the worse fights; in fact it's one of my personal faves XD Anyway at this point considering how stupidly long these recaps and flashback are, it's probably best to make 3 episode reactions a regular thing.

3 minute recap sequences like that and other padding are why One Piece should have filler or just recap episodes that can be skipped entirely for people who want the option... and to maintain the canon pacing of the manga. Thank god more recently in the anime they started releasing entire recap episodes so we don't have to deal with shit pacing anymore, it drives me crazy like you haha.

the cat scene was because senior pink protected the cat

And the award to the more dragged episode ever goes tooooooooooo

The recaps are so annoying but I also always have to remember that these episodes would have been releasing weekly or so and it had been probably about a month or 2 since anime-only fans of OP had been to dressrosa (and even longer since they would have seen some of the fights e.g frankys and zoros) due to the back stories and such so when you think about it like that it makes a bit more sense haha

fun fact, the entire dressrosa arc is happening in 1 DAY. thats how bad the pacing was lol

Idk if you got this while viola was talking or if you picked up on this beforehand (bc he had a fin on his back in the flashbacks) but delinger is a half fighting-fish fishman! I’ve always found that super cool but way under-utilised

Corazon is most definitely the reason Law names his pirates the heart pirates.

Toei really did the "Here's my 5 page thesis on why they said the sky was blue", if I ever need someone to make a padded room I'll hit them up, experts really

Poor Law really is going through it in this arc. And always, right after, we see Doflamingo reacting with sadistic glee. If our Surgeon of Death had remained with this man we probably wouldn't have seen him cut up people in ultimately harmless manners but a much more brutal fashion.

They knew we skipped the recaps at the start so they added recaps in the middle of the episode.

Dressrosa is def the worst when it comes to recaps, classic toei.

hi i'm here for some info no spolier, you got 1 thing mixed up, doflamingo didn't choose dressrosa throne because was easy and there was no war, but because "the original Donquixote family" reigned on dressrosa before going to mary geoise FUN FACTS 1)armament haki: the character of one piece can't see the color ,is just for us "the audience" to know that someone is using it 2) OUR HERO BART: was state by oda in a Q/A that he is "parody" of the "hard one piece fan" 3)i think you alredy know that, the Donquixote executive are named after the suits of the playing cards (diamante=diamond corason=hearts pica=spades trebol=clubs) and doflamingo is the "joker" most powerful card
