you will know pain
Donquixote Corazon, Jaguar D. Saul, Shipwright Tom, Whitebeard. They are truly, the GOATS!!! A moment of silence for the GREATS!!
Jack as casual being a crybaby who cries before the real sad part started😂😂
jacks face and hair at the start compared to the end cheered me up when it went to replay
love you making sure to finish the backstory before continuing
Corazon is such a damn good character, it's a shame we couldn't get more time with him. This has to be near the top or at the top in terms of character backstories in One Piece. Seeing all of that gives so much more weight to the Dressrosa arc. Law has carried on Corazon's will and wants to stop Doffy, but also get revenge. You can understand how deep Law's hatred of Doflamingo must run after seeing these episodes. Thanks for extra episode so we could finish out this beautiful backstory in one go :)
thanks for the extra ep jacxkkkk
You've heard of "Peak Piece" This is "Pain Peace" We all cry together.
law's backstory is the best
Dam jack seeing you cry here made ME want to cry, course episodes like this from One Piece always hit my feels every time. On a lighter note, this was my first time seeing my name in your end credits haha. Keep doing your thing bud.
And thats why Law's crew is called the Heart Pirates, Op-Op is shaped like a heart but he also named it after Corazon (same with his heart tattoos). The Jolly Roger is also an ode to Corazon's smile at the end while also being anti-doflamingo
Jack was so crushed, he forgot to say, “peace peace” at the end 😭😂
You know it hits hard when there's no peace peace at the end haha
I see a few more tearful episodes in the future for you Jack ( though will be there with you)
another thing I want to mention is that, Law at the end actually can hear himself cry thus confirming Corazon's death and that made him cry harder😭
If you’re a respected, beloved, formative figure in a one piece character’s back story, there’s like an 80% chance that you’re dead. I think the only exceptions so far are Shanks and Zeff.
yeah and both paid with significant part of their body for that...
The best backstory in one piece hands down imo. Doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen it, it hits just as hard every time. Corazon is one of the best characters in a 1000+ episode show and he only shows up for a handful of them. GODA !!! Back to the action
RIP Corazon. dude thanks for the extra episode :)
Add it to the list baby
I forget if it's mentioned, but the reason Cora always beat up the kids, was because he didn't want them to be corrupted by Mingo
It is mentioned cuz when he's talking to Sengoku in ep 703 he says that he doesn't think the other 3 will leave in reference to Buffalo, Baby 5 and Dellinger
It's insane how Oda made us fall in love with Cora-san in such a short amount of episodes.
"why did you pretend not to be able to talk?" "i don't converse with pieces of shit"
I'm glad he went out with some jabs at them. Cora-san won that day.
and now you realize why Law's jolly roger is a gigantic smile- it's Cora's
jack has an issue with taking things too literal
wdym
Best backstory
ty for doing all 3 here <3
Just noticed the island Corazon and Law are on at the start of ep704 is the island Noland is from. Thats the kings palace
i was just going to comment this lmao, Oda did actually confirm this in an SBS, which make sense since Noland (and the kingdom he was from Lvneel) were both mentioned as being from the North Blue back in Jaya.
In a handful of episodes, Corazon became the goat for most fans of the series. Tragically, Corazon is like a Straw Hat pirate with one major difference -- he's missing the plot armor because he's not an actual Star Hat. The vast majority of characters in One Piece rush ahead with only their personal goals in mind. The Navy doesn't care about the collateral damage they cause (for the most part), and neither do most pirates. The Straw Hats tend to be the one group that stops and does something if they see people suffering right in front of them. But they Straw Hats don't die for it, because they're our protected protagonists. Corazon gave up everything because he couldn't stand to see one hateful little brat suffer any more, and he paid the ultimate price for it. The man was a real one, though, and in a small 6 episode arc among a series almost 1200 episodes long now, he established himself as one of the greats.
rewatching this with you and crying just as hard as i did the first time i watched 😭
So about those tears being done... yeah... Sending hugs to past Jack for this one. I'm so glad Law met Bepo, Penguin and Shachi soon after this, after he ened up all alone in the world for a SECOND time in his life. If it had taken longer he might never have allowed himself to get close to anyone ever again.
CORA-SAN! Nooooooooooooo. This episode hits the feels so hard. Add it to the cry playlist.
Corazon is one of my favourite if not my #1 favourite character from one piece still to this day
The internal cringe is immense when law walks up to Vergo- when we know exactly what that means for Cora and Law 😭 if I wasn’t too lazy to pause and re-sync the reaction, I would have had to walk out and take a breather usually 😫
X Drake's name is pronounced Diez drake, like Diez Barrels. The X is a numeral.
love the triple episode, the immersion hits so much harder :'')
🔥 triple!! Nice catch with young X Drake! The X in his name is actually the roman numeral for 10 and the guy Doffy shot was called Diez Barrels, diez meaning 10 in Spanish, so technically the names are Diez Drake or X Barrels, translation thingies But yes, always trust in Goda even when he destroys us with the flashbacks 😭🙏🏼
ALL 3? yessss perfect 👌
this is what i was waiting for... it hits you so hard man...
