This Week in pReview'd: August 3rd-9th, 2026
Hello, Peaches!
There is an enormous amount happening behind the scenes at pReview’d right now, and we are so glad to have you all along for the ride.
This week, we’re planning to shoot:
• House of the Dragon
• X-Men ’97
• Our very first Ted Lasso reaction
• The Devil Wears Prada 2
• More Game Changer
• And, assuming things go smoothly we may finally begin My Hero Academia!
We are particularly excited about Ted Lasso. We’ve never covered the show on the channel before, so this is the beginning of an entirely new journey for us. We cannot wait to experience it alongside all of you.
ALSO: the entire first season of Frieren is now available in watch-along format starting at our lowest tier!
That’s all 28 complete reactions, ready for you to sync with your own copies of the episodes and watch whenever you’d like. Our anime library continues to grow!
There is even more happening behind the curtain that we cannot quite reveal yet. For now, just know that we are very, very grateful to have all of you here with us.
Blimp Procurement Update:
Steve Guttenberg has betrayed our trust and ripped the rug out from under our blimp deal.
This betrayal will not stand.
We are regrouping. We are rebuilding. We are burning our Signed VHS copies of Cocoon and It Takes Two. Someday the skies will belong to pReview’d, and on that day, Guttenberg will understand the terrible weight of what he has done. We will show the Gutte the true meaning of "Blimpin' aint easy".
As always, have an amazing week!
-Jay and Adam
