Hi all!

There’s lots to cover, so let’s jump right in!

The Plan for October — A Community Written Spooky Adventure

You may have noticed that there was no map poll for October.

And while we here at RC value democracy as much as the next cartographer, there’s a very good reason for it…

We’re making another adventure!

October is spooky season, and in the past we’ve created Halloween adventures written by the wonderful folks in this community and mapped by yours truly.

Well, this year we’re doing it again!

Introducing the third instalment of the Senna Series

The working title is Senna’s Legacy, and just like the previous adventures, the goal is to create a complete, playable adventure written by the community and brought to life through maps.

If you missed the first two adventures, you can find them here: Senna’s Folly & Senna’s Tomb.

Work has already begun over on Discord, and we’d love for you to get involved!

I’m also talking to a number of other creators who are keen to collaborate, so hopefully this adventure will feature more than just maps, expect tokens, magic items and, if all goes to plan, music!

The Story So Far…

This adventure will take us to the ancient City of Sesa, located deep within the cursed lands of the Undead Wastes.

Sesa is believed to have been the ground zero of the Plague of Undeath that devastated much of the Kingdom of Galdoria.

Though the streets are now overrun by the undead, the ancient citadel still shelters what remains of Sesa's living population, desperately clinging to survival in a city that refuses to let them leave.

And now, something has returned…

Dear old Alicia.

Those of you who played the first two Senna adventures will remember the witch whose return was foiled at the end of the previous stories.

Well…she’s back and this time, she has found another way to return to life.

Alicia intends to harness the dark magic buried beneath Sesa, using the city's remaining living population to fuel a ritual capable of unleashing something truly terrible upon the world.

Naturally, this is where the PCs come in.

They’re going to have to stop her.

Want to Help Write It?

This is a community-written adventure, which means the story, encounters, characters and weird ideas that make it into the final adventure can come from you!

If you enjoy writing D&D adventures, coming up with encounters, creating NPCs, designing monsters, or simply have a suitably horrible idea for what Alicia should be doing in Sesa…

Come and join us on Discord and get involved!

You don't need to be a professional writer, and you don't need to have contributed to the previous Senna adventures.

Bring your ideas, your imagination and your enthusiasm.

Let’s see what we can create together this Halloween.

Cheers team!
