Minor update to accommodate the Underwater Diving mod.

Made some changes in preparation for the upcoming Underwater Diving mod. Most of these changes aren't visible to the player.
The basic Underwater Cave now has animated seaweed to make it look more realistic.
Harvestable Kelp now has multiple variants that each yield different types of edible kelp if you have the Expanded Mermaids mod.

Updated to fix a bug that caused some features to be broken from the last game patch.
Hey all!
This is a small set of items that center around the ocean, sealife, and other underwater scenery. Most of these items have been converted from The Sims 3: Island Paradise, with a few adjustments to fit into The Sims 4 and add some functionality. These were originally meant to be included in the upcoming Expanded Mermaids update, but I decided they deserve their own release and hopefully this will be a good set to play with while we wait for the Expanded Mermaids mod to be finished. ;)
Most of these objects are decorative, but there are a few special ones with some gameplay!
"Harvestable Kelp" - This little patch of seaweed is animated and allows your sims to harvest Reef Kelp if you have my Expanded Mermaids mod installed.
"Fan Coral" and "Sand Bed" - These items are great for creating an underwater scene, but they also function like aquariums, which means that filling them with fish will create a small area where they can swim around! *I highly recommend using them in pools to create giant fish tanks!
"Basking Rock" - The most significant gameplay object is the Basking Rock, a supremely nautical lounge chair that mermaids can "Bask" on, complete with mood-specific animations. Mermaids can also practice singing and sing special songs if the City Living expansion is installed!
There are no strict requirements for this set, but some things do require packs or mods to function correctly.
"Soft" Requirements:
Island Living - Required for mermaid-related interactions to be available.
City Living - Required for singing interactions on the Basking Rock to work.
Expanded Mermaids mod - Required for harvesting kelp from the Harvestable Kelp object.
All decorative items are completely base-game compatible!

Hello, where did you get the poses also can you create custom bubbles and like a sonic frquency that you can use underwater?
When i click the option for my mermaid to sing on the basking rock they just sit and do nothing on it, however, the singing skill does increase. Im not sure whats wrong
I'm having trouble with the cauldron since the latest update and had to remove the mod. I didn't see an update. I'm guessing it's because of the fire pit added to the last kit. Will there be an update? Can I use the mod without the cauldron? My mermaids have so much fun swimming with their children. I miss it!
What issue are you having? Do you have script mods enabled and is the script file directly in your mods folder? All my mods should be compatible with the recent patch, as nothing was changed that should affect them.
I discovered that the child life stage can max the singing skill, might not be a terrible idea to update the basking rock so child merfolk can sing on it.

The Sand Bed Rug and Fan Coral that you can add fish too are suffering from a very old bug. Overtime, the fish turn foul, and my only work around is rebuying new fish. I really like having the fish swim around with the bubbles. Makes simulating being underwater so much more believable! It does get tedious replacing fish after they decay from excellent to foul every sim day. Does anyone know of something that can stop the fish from going bad inside a fish tank?
Hi! I noticed I got error message for the rock under \All Mermaids\SP_Sea-neryStuff_BaskingRock.package says "Invalid tuning mod". Also I managed to fix other stuff like mermaid exp and flopping animations work now! Deleted bunch of mods I dont really use so not sure which one it was haha
