Tia's Rescue Room Renovations - Part 1
Compassion fatigue is real, and when your days revolve around making sure every dog and cat is safe, healthy, and happy, it's easy to lose yourself somewhere along the way.
This new series is my attempt to climb out of that emotional rut, but in a way that's a little unconventional, a little creative, and definitely outside the box. I'm taking you along as I explore new ideas, rediscover the things that bring me joy, and hopefully inspire other animal rescuers to do the same.
Because taking care of ourselves doesn't mean we're turning our backs on the animals who depend on us. It means finding a way to keep going without losing ourselves in the process.

Thank you for sharing. I'm sure you'll come up with some ideas that work for you. And the color palette that you like I personally find cooler gentler colors more soothing than brights. Everyone has what they like..
Hope it all goes well. Can’t wait to see it done
Love it! That's awesome!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS IDEA TIA!!!🪷🪷🪷🥀🩷🩷🩷
Fun … can’t wait!
Gasp, love the chat gbt room. I'd say maybe paint part of the room. That would mean moving the dog crates out for a couple of days.
If you could somehow put happy bright colors in your room, it would help with your emotional health. Maybe the boys could staple up something on the ceiling and brighten the room and the mood.
I'm actually thinking about having my son knock a hole in the wall to make another window (besides the sldiing glass door I have)
Super cool idea ❤️ I like it.
I just have one question….do you want another painting? If so, of what? 💜
I’m super excited to follow this journey. Woohoo 🙌
This is an exciting series. It's inspired me to see what I can do. I'm homebound in a gosh-darn tri-level but can only use one level (the middle with the kitchen, but no restroom - use a chamber pot) due to the stairs and mobility.
Well this should be fun for both of us!!
I LOVE THIS! I just posted on the “what do you want more content of” and when I see something that’s only a couple of minutes I always give myself the grace to ENJOY A COUPLE OF MINUTES. Thank you for this gift. The color scheme is amazing and goes perfectly with the landscape outside. I am happy that you are investing energy into bringing more happiness into your world. Your posts always bring joy into mine. Have a good night 🐾⚜️⚜️⚜️🐾🐾🐾
Love the idea and hope you have a great outcome! It's true that to be in the best position to help others, one must be in a good space first. And where we rest should be restful and relaxing.
That’s beautiful, Tia❣️ I hope it helps to rescue you and give you a relaxing space‼️ Can’t wait to follow the progress!!
