Development Update 11.09.2026
Hello everyone, welcome to this week's progress report.
Level:
This week, we concluded our initial set dressing pass for the Desert and moved on to the hills around the Alpha Camp. The Pillar Region is progressing as well, but takes more time due to the density of assets in that area. We made some improvements to the scattered foliage on the ground for a more detailed look.
Our Level Designer together with our Quest Designers is continuing with the task of adding a ton of content for exploration and quests. 3D art is finished implementing all of the assets and props from the Yterra tileset and will focus on areas like the newly established Tutorial/Game-start space.
Code:
This week, we invested some more time into optimizing the save game snapshot, which has been reduced to ~20ms and is barely noticeable anymore.
We also started the process of overhauling the visual look of the story mode UI, starting with the Player HUD and parts of the inventory screen.
Character:
Kim’s new improved default outfit is now finished and we have also added it for Maya. For the sandbox we now have a new classic The Cow pattern bikini plus accessories. It will be available for Maya, Mercer, Kylee, Shey, Koodie, Zeya, and Shiva.
Animations:
On the animation side, we exported some animations for Max and Micco. Right now these are only in sandbox, but later they will be used when the player gets invited to the Mayor's VIP area of the Umbar party temple.
As part of the overhauled game-start sequence, we are working on a short minigame between Max and Kim that will serve as a little introduction for the players into the game's sexy content.
Design:
In the Design department, we worked on the implementation of the game-start improvements in the Alpha Camp. We also implemented the questline for Maya where she can retrieve a forgotten but legendary blade of a former hero of Kerpal and we got started on a questline in the Great Plains where Max can prove himself as an honorary member of a pigman gang: the Rosy Cheeks.
Further, we implemented Max x Maya's minigame into its story context. This conclusion to their storyline will happen in the epilogue, after the main quest is finished.

Great work from the devs. Ive played this game and enjoyed every single aspect to the fighting mechanics trying to sneak defeat wolves and to getting the hunters bow for the side quest of hunting a dino. I enjoy the fact that you can press space bar at any point of heat and you can control and play to your preference, ive loved the xbox controller to mouse setup. im able to press space bar at centain scenes and grasp the gameplay. I found the demo gameplay a great introduction to the next level gen of gaming. Some strong opinions i felt could make gameplay experience more adaptive and rewarding, is that if during a s*x scene you have a org**sm meter showing your level of climax so you are able to maintain endurence and which every 10 minutes of penetration a different intensity of climax is rewarded. / overall 10/10

hi, you all are doing awesome! so excited for the release! Curious, and i don't know the licensing aspect of this, but do you all plan to try to include dlss5 in the release or at any point? no judgement if don't plan on it, i know its a bit polarizing right now, but i got to say your characters, which already look amazing, look stunning with dlss5 on. been using it for a week and there is no going back.
We will evaluate that once there is actually an official engine plugin for it, then we need to check how complex it is to implement, if our current engine version supports it, and what controls are available to conform it with our art direction.
when is the next build to be released?
The release week is now for the 25$ and the 10$ version 1-2 weeks later.

Sorry in advance, but i'd say delay for 2-3 months, and add in a S rank romance for a female kerpali to Max. It's kinda wild that max get's a S rank romance with a male kerpali and not a female kerpali, when Kerpali 'seems' to be a pretty big selling point of the game. I know i'm asking a lot, but i had high hopes for max x Karra and Tali. Having said all that, then i'm of course hyped for the release, i've been following this game for so long, and i love the devs, i just have a little hope in my heart that they'll make me surprised. ('Hearth emoji, since emotes doens't work.)

Im looking forward to the Performance on the 1.0 as of right now i barely get 35 FPS. I Own a 3060 12GB and an AMD 5600x wich is pretty mid range but not 35FPS range
i mean even my 9060xt 16gb and 5700x3d drop to single digit fps numbers if i go near any water, it isn't your hardware's fault, we just gotta wait for it to be content complete so they can focus on performance patches before the official launch, that's just the way these things go in the pre release stages.
the men are off-putting and their clothing is bland and lame.
