How To Harmonize Guitars Masterclass

I've always found it interesting that everyone knows the sound of harmonizing guitars, but a surprising amount of guitarists are seemingly unaware of the mechanics behind this awesome and iconic sound.

In this masterclass you'll learn all of the theory you need to know to understand the fundamentals of guitar harmonization and how exactly you can apply it practically to your own playing!

I'm keen to follow this up with a 2nd part on more advanced harmonization methods so please let me know if you'd be interested in that!

I'd be interested in another more complex harmony video as you alluded to throughout the video

I love harmony. I would literally play back the intro to Metallica's Blackened over and over just to hear that oh-so-sweet (backwards) harmony. I know when I hear a harmony....but theoretically did not understand until now. This lesson really helped me understand harmony better. I appreciate your breakdowns. Keep it simple. Keep it metal!

This makes figuring out cob songs 100 % correct quite hard for me, since there are guitar and key harmonies

Yeah can be a little harder to hear on other instruments but COB harmonies are still just basic 3rds!

I first learned about harmonies when I learned the master of puppets interlude. I thought it was in 4th. I'm a bit tone deaf.

Awesome video, i didn't realize that for arpeggios you could just shift it up an inversion, way easier than what i thought. I'm very intersted to learn how to harmonize non diatonic lines too.
