Here's savegame editor for Used Cars Simulator that can extract the save > edit > save > make backup. simple as that. Written in python and compiled into standalone .exe.

FEATURES:

• Seamless Editing — automatically extracts save from main-scene.json, which is not a true json (it's archive) > edits > repacks the save > makes backup.

• Automatic Backups — makes up to 5 backups automatically upon saving

• Quick editing of common values — money, level, XP, scrap, skill points, hunger/thirst, and in-game time.

• Raw editor: browse and edit the entire save as a tree, with search, add and delete.

• Mission / Quest editor — complete individual tasks or whole quests. This also gets you past the shed banner editor softlock: select brandNameQ3 and click “Complete selected task” (it doesn't fix the bug, if you try to edit banner you'll still get stuck, it just lets you bypass that step), then click on talkAgainToOldManFriendQ3 and click on "Show/hide selected task" so it says hidden = false, which activates next task.

• Building editor — set shed and HQ ownership, choose upgrades, and unlock everything with one click.

• Custom fav icon — to use custom icon, place your icon in tool's root folder and name it "fav.ico", tool automatically loads that icon instead of using my default.

• Offline only — this tool is offline only and does not require internet.

• Feel free to send it to any anti-virus company for analysis — exe is built with PyInstaller, which bundles Python dependencies into one file that unpacks itself to a temp folder when launched. Heuristic scanners often treat that self-extracting behavior as suspicious / unsafe and since the file is new and unsigned, it has no reputation yet. The editor only reads/writes your save file and makes no other operations, including no network connections. Major anti-viruses report it as clean.

• Tested on pre-release "streamers" edition, but should work on every version as it's highly unlikely that game devs change the mechanic on how save game works in future.

• FREEWARE — this tool is free and you're welcome to share it, but please do not host it anywhere else, if you like to share it with friends or in your blog posts or videos, please link this post instead.

• Extract UCS_SaveEditor.7z anywhere — password = sethioz (password is needed as patreon blocks .exe uploads and it also extracts archives and checks for .exe files)

• Run UCS_SaveEditor.exe

• Open main-scene.json in correct slot (slot 1, 2 or 3) — for me full path is in C:\Users\Sethioz\AppData\LocalLow\DreamWay Games\Used Cars Simulator\GameState\Slot_1\main-scene.json
