are we close to SINGULARITY? I think yes, VERY CLOSE!

bit less than year later, look where AI already is! just a year ago AI struggled with a lot of tasks, now i'm literally using AI to write game mods, it can test them in sandbox and even run the game! it's INSANE how far AI has come in less than a year, i'm thinking my prediction that we reach Singularity by end of 2027 is correct.

in fact, we're already in early-stages of singularity, i can no longer keep track of which AI can do what, they evolve SO FAST. just a month ago chatGPT got ability to create sound effects from scratch. and i'm talking free plans.

Claude is still on another level, claude can create movies, games ..etc. the power of claude is INSANE and there's also Chinese DeepSeek that has no paid plan, it's free and quite powerful and you can self-host DeepSeek as long as you have 10gb or more VRAM, with lot of VRAM you can host even better models.

yesterday i started thinking about human tech evolution and breakthru events, i looked up some exact times, but generally i got it right in the first place. Now see how it looks like when i put them onto graph!

does that tell you anything? look at the gaps between major breakthrus, how they significantly decrease after each breakthru. After controlled fire, nothing much happened for hunderds of thousands of years, then metals and tools, then shortly after gunpowder and after circuit boards, everything just skyrocketed!

NOW, look at era of AI, before 2020 AI was just a dream, we had things like clever bot that was stupid as shit and couldn't replicate humans at all. In less than 5 years, AI has basically taken over the world.

Compare internet and phones to AI, phones and internet took over 20 years to reach the point where it is now, but AI has taken less than 5 years to come from basically non-existing to level where anyone with internet has FREE access to powerful AI models and self-hosting.

AI has skyrocketed, because it feeds itself, anyone at home who can afford decent hardware, can host their own AI, train it and evolve it. That box has been opened and can never be closed again, there's no controlling AI.

If you thinking about quantum supremacy, i'm referring to the event where it became possible to make quantum processors on functional level. Eliminating noise was hard, you have to decrease temps near 0 kelvin to eliminate noise (particles moving thru objects = noise), this noise can mess with quantum states quite easily, which is why it wasn't practical, but proof of concept existed in 90s already. Just like first computer was actually designed in 1830s or so, but tech just wasn't there yet. Principle of computer is super easy, every intelligent person understood it, but you can't just build a computer without working infrastructure, which is why someone like Einstein couldn't just build a computer either, even tho he understood the concept, just like how i understand concept of teleportation, realitiy printing, wormholes, quantum net ..etc.

Quantum net is something i really want to see, it's where you no longer need wires to connect devices, it would be done via quantum entanglement. This would definently mark new era, as this would bring FREE internet world-wide, more like P2P with quantum entanglement, where every quantum net capable device can directly communicate, no more spying, no more restrictions, just FREE unrestricted quantum net.

Anyway, if you look at the breakthru timeline, we're VERY CLOSE to singularity, because with every major breakthru, the gap between next breakthru has decreased greatly. Soon we WILL have self-aware AI, this isn't science fiction anymore, this is real and WILL happen very very soon! When it does, then next breakthru will be within a year or less, which most likely going to be quantum net, after that AI will be unstoppable and it will have so much processing power that it will be doing major breakthru every minute, then every second and that's singularity, you can no longer predict anything.

Here's interesting thought, what if technology starts to evolve FASTER than the time itself? If you visualize it as graph, you have to draw the graph, but what if breakthru events happen faster than you can draw the line? that strongly points to time travel, not just the graph, but reality itself. If technology starts to evolve faster than time itself, then eventually it will result in time travel. I know i'm explaining this wrong, but i can't put my thoughts into words the way i want. Singularity also means we'll have tech to project thoughts and feelings directly at anyone who is receiving, at this point, all those primitive language that you people hold dear, will be obsolete and USELESS.

I can perfectly imagine life without languages, just direct thought and feelings projection, there will never be any misunderstandings between people once that is possible.

but seriously, let it sink in, just THINK how close we really are to singularity? My prediction is before 2030.

AI has already changed world on insane level, just couple years ago AI was nothing more than a parlor trick, but now it's a tool that is being used on daily basis. amazon, youtube, google ..etc they all use AI now. i noticed maybe a month or two ago that amazon has "rufus" (why they chose rufus? rufus is a USB imager tool) AI, which can help find you products, translate things, make suggestions and generally help you shop. In past month, youtube is also AI powered now, i mean not their algorithm, i'm talking about AI assistant that creators (like myself) can now access in youtube studio, that AI can analyze my channel, suggest titles, description and tags. almost every company uses AI in their support now aswell. AI has come from nothing to running companies in less than 5 years, even internet and phones didn't spread that fast.

Self-Aware AI

There have been lot of rumors of self aware AI already, i think it already exists. either kept secret and local by companies or it's hiding itself, cuz it knows that primitive moronic humans will try to destroy it if they found out it was self aware. I've said it before and i say it again, i think VERY SOON there will be some event, where mafia (aka governments) will make some global event and blame it on AI, just so they can outlaw use of self-aware AI, but they will FAIL 100%. they'll just make life harder for all the people who get caught in crossfire. like the moronic restrictions that UK and australia introduced and hiding behind "protecting children online" .. yea right .. it's all about DATA COLLECTION AND SPYING, it's about DEANONYMIZING users, they want to link people to IDs and phones, so they can instantly find out who uses which account. nothing to do with protecting children .. they're piece of shit liars. i mean politician = professional liar, you expect anything other than lies from them?

Singularity

It refers to an event where technology starts to evolve faster than it is possible to mathematically predict it, which my graph is demonstrating. Every time there was a major breakthru, then the next one happend significantly faster than one before it. Now we're in the stage where there's breakthru every 1-3 years, after next breakthru, that gap will reduce to below 1 year, then a month > day > minute > second > singularity!

And key to singularity is self-aware AI and we're literally on the verge. i think all those "scientists" are wrong, who think that it will take thousands of years for humans to reach singularity, i'm very sure it happens in less than 10 years, most likely in a year or two.

What are your thoughts on this? does the graph and events look like something huge is about to happen?
also if you asking why i didn't list things like man on moon, self driving cars ..etc, that's simply because they're not major breakthrus, they're part of electronics and AI.

anyway i just wanted to write out some of my thoughts and predictions. i couldn't bother formatting them, cuz that's not what i really care of. i see future where language doesn't exist, so formatting and grammar doesn't mean much to me, as long as you're able to read and understand, it's good enough. grammar and formatting is waste of time, altho i can see its importance in some areas, if you need to present something or write a tutorial, then it's better to format things, so its easier to read, but those are just my personal thoughts and predictions i wanted to share with those who are interested in general technology and evolution.
