Hmm... this is weird

Sometimes i'm really convinced that universe is a "simulation" and that there are glitches, just like glitches/bugs in man-made computers.

huh? that theory is nothing new, but when you have personal experience with something like that, you really start thinking about what the fuck is going on.

what happened? well yesterday when i left my PC in sleep mode and used my gas cooker's spark igniter, it turned my PC on. i thought it was a coincidence, so i put my PC to sleep again and it turned PC on again. it happened 4 times, then i took out my camera and wanted to record it, but then it stopped doing it. WHAT?!

i tried several times afterwards and it didn't happen again, but today it happend again.

how is that even possible? i understand how electricity and signals work, i know that high voltage spark can transmit some sort of "wireless" signals aswell, but my PC has no wireless devices connected to it, it doesn't have built-in wireless either.

I think my gas cooker doesn't use electricity to produce that spark, i think it uses piezoelectric crystal thingy like lighters. that spark doesn't come from a battery like many think, it comes from piezoelectric crystal.

how can that possibly turn my PC on? it can't be energy surge, because:
1) i have 2 surge protectors on PC
2) piezoelectric crystal is not even connected to mains power, it produces power by using mechanical method, it's kind of like slamming 2 metal objects together and it creates sparks.

I know that even piezoelectric crystal can send out certain energy waves, but what i don't get is how can it turn my PC on? why wasn't it doing it before? Why now? I've left my pc in sleep mode for weeks and gas igniter has never turned it on before. and why did it stop doing it as soon as i took my camera out? Is that the butterfly effect, that somehow the energy from camera disrupts whatever is happening? Even if it's not pizeoelectric crystal, it still doesn't explain how/why it turns my PC on, surge protectors eliminate all kind of surges, they're designed to protect your devices from exactly that .. and electric surge is not "wake signal". Power surges happen all the time and it doesn't turn your PC on.

Another weird thing that was happening few years ago, is that turning on my PC also triggered the wireless doorbell downstairs. again this makes 0 sense, wireless doorbell requires very specific wireless signal to be sent for it to work, most wireless devices (cordless house phones, doorbells, cameras ..etc) operate @ 2.4ghz, just like wi-fi adapters for laptops and computers, 5ghz is also used for higher speeds, but 2.4ghz is most common. BUT my PC has NO wireless devices, how can it possibly ring the doorbell?

for example you can have more than 1 wireless doorbell in close proximity and they wouldn't interfere with eachother, so it makes 0 sense to me how my computer can trigger the doorbell.

OR maybe there is a much simpler explanation, what if computer parts manufacturers put some tiny wireless chips into computers to spy on users? am i crazy or am i on to the truth? I have Asus Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard. according to specs, it has no wireless devices built into it.

When computer is in sleep mode, it can be turned on by pressing anything on keyboard or mouse, but this still doesn't explain how gas igniter can turn PC on. i tried using electric lighter around my PC and it had no effect, so it's specificlaly gas cooker's igniter that turns my PC on. seriously, wtf?

I think most probable is that igniter somehow sends energy as signal into my PC, but what component is able to receive it as "wake signal"?

I know that lot of IR (infrared) remote controllers interfere with eachother, as a kid i did experiment. I took TV remote apart and connected 2 wires directly to IR LED, other end i connected to a 3.5mm jack that fits into microphone input on tape recorder (yes, it was mid 90s), then i recorded the sequence onto tape as noise. then i reversed this by connecting wires from speaker output to another IR LED and when i played the tape, it turned TV on/off. This is nothing new on how to convert signal. In fact same method was used in 90s (i think, or maybe in 80s?) to produce lossless digital tapes. They basically used same method, they turned sound into digital data and then they turned it back into sound by using special cassette player. as result, it was lossless as that machine read the digital data and not the noise on tape. This makes perfect sense, but gas igniter and computer are very far apart, only thing in common is that both use/produce electricity.

Now i'm actually curious to find out why this is happening, i did some research and i didn't find any reference to this ever happening, am i the only one to discover something like this?
