US Politics

This year is an election year in the United States, and things are already getting annoying... so, what can I do to burn some steam? Draw a comic joking about politics!

The irony in this drawing is that while it may look evident to associate Democrats with the left and Republicans with the right, having a value of 100% means the opposite: "left: 100%" implies that the element is to the right (and vice versa). In this case, I preferred to keep the obvious over the actual value.

The person depicted is supposed to be Abraham Lincoln, but I didn't do a great job of it. Hopefully, it looks like him enough. I may need to update it to make it thinner. While at it, I may add some additional color to the bowtie. Something that pops.

You may notice that the ballots/votes falling are similar to the confetti falling around the winner. Is that a coincidence? Of course not. It's the classic copy-paste to finish the drawing faster 😅
