Astronaut

I completed this cartoon between last night and this morning... and then I forgot to share it here. This is the last of the daily cartoons for comiCSS second anniversary, but I must say that I like the style so much, that I may keep drawing them in the future (although not at a one-cartoon-per-day rate).

The CSS selector is .astronaut, but I consider making it #MajorTom or #MajorTom.astronaut in reference to David Bowie's Space Oddity. As the song basically mentions everything:

• "Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare"

• "I'm stepping through the door, and I'm floating in the most peculiar way"

• "Here I am sitting in my tin can far above the world"

• "Can you hear me, Major Tom?"

But basically, it could match many songs about space and astronauts, too. For example, Rocket Man by Elton John. But now I'm talking nonsense. Back to topic.

I enjoyed drawing these cartoons. I may try to do one of these weekly, apart from the regular cartoon about CSS and web development.
