Latibulate

Earlier this week, I saw a post online with the word "latibulate." It's an old English word that is as uncommon now as it was when it was first recorded in the 1600s. It comes from the Latin "latibulum" which means "hiding place" and it means to position oneself in a safe and hidden place (like a corner) to avoid reality or social inconveniences.

I applied that to CSS and came up with:

.latibulate {
position: fixed;
bottom: 0;
right: 0;
scale: 0.5;
}

Which would place an element in the bottom right corner and make it smaller, trying to make it go unnoticed and unseen... latibulating the element.

As I already shared this cartoon in social media (sorry), I will be adding it to the site next Wednesday, so there's a break from the current black-and-white series.

Tomorrow I will share the comic from two weeks from now.
