Get in Tom!! I'm so glad to see you finally accomplish this insane feat! No one can ever take this away from you! Thank you for being an inspiration to so many. You have truly motivated me to become more active in my own life. I haven't yet tried a straight line mission, but I would love to consider a short one that won't get me shot (I'm in Utah, USA) You have inspired me in my fitness though. I have a long way to go, but I've been running/cycling more consistently than ever this year, and I've loved it. I've entered a lot of races (right now, it looks like I'll do at least a dozen this year) Mostly doing 5Ks, sprint triathlons, and a duathlon, it hasn't been anything too intense yet, and I'm far from the podium, even in my age group, but I've simply focused on improving my own times. I'll definitely start signing up to longer races as well, but I'd rather get good at shorter distances first. However, I am gearing up to my ultimate goal of cycling across the entire state of Utah north - south before I turn 30. This is definitely doable, and has obviously been done before many times over. It's truthfully not nearly as ambitious as your cycling journey across Europe years ago, but for me, it is plenty ambitious and would be a huge accomplishment as a very amateur, casual cyclist/jogger. Not to mention the not-so friendly to pedestrians/cyclists infrastructure we have over here across the pond. Once again, congratulations, and thank you for being an inspiration to so many of us. We can't wait to see what you do next!

Mate, at the end there I just had like full on tears in my eyes but not without also having a huge grin on my face as well. What an insane last stretch with those final farm fields, unnecessary high stone walls, simply insane brambles and those almost comicaly last Norway-remembrance wetlands, which almost seemed to try to swallow you up right before the end. It felt like a videogame throwing you a collection of your worst endbosses in your way, right before the finish line. What an epic and fitting end to this story. I simply can't say enough congratulations for finally beating this mammoth of a mission. GET IN!
