How far can I walk from my house surviving only from money I find on the ground? [PART 1]
There's nothing quite like a good old fashioned treasure hunt, and as far as modern ones go, this is gonna take some beating. Starting at my house in Lichfield and loosely following the path of an ancient roman road called Watling street, my aim is to see how far I can walk whilst surviving solely on whatever loose change I can find on the floor. I know what you're thinking; This is 2026. Nobody uses coins any more. Well, that may be so, but I've got a few tricks up my sleeve.
Will they be enough to hoover up enough loose change to sustain me for long? or will this idea prove to be as ridiculous as everyone I pitched it to thought it was...

I was saying to myself, "Is he really going to act like he's never done this before since it wasn't on the main channel?" then literally 5 seconds later, Tom gives the context and puts Patreon clips in throughout. Nicely done!
I’m changing my behaviour and paying cash only from now on at drive throughs
Not KFC your not 😄
Been waiting eagerly for this one after you teased it before 👌😊
Well timed with Beau’s video this week. Where he well and truly proved roundabout theory by finding a $10 note! Here is hoping you do in Part 2!
The look she gave you at the - was it Starbucks? - in the proof of concept clip you shared. Absolute gold.
You should watch the video on here if you haven't already. The trial run is a Patreon exclusive.
Spoiler: he gets to Milton Keynes and is still searching roundabouts today.
I've never left any coins there, but having used some of those roundabouts in my time, I can tell you that I've definitely left some of my soul and my sanity! I love your sense of adventure, dude.
Great video as always Tom! Can't wait for more to come!
Been waiting for this one :D have a good one Tom
Lots of fun, thank you Tombadil. Wall island is my daily 'commute' from Aldridge, and I'm regularly over in Tamworth. U don't think I want to see how often I'm in those two Maccie D's. But c'mon Tom, you were VERY formal in your pronunciation of your unexpected train station - that's 'Wincut' all the way ;-)
get im gonna watch this in an hour
Enjoyed it 🔥🔥
Loved it. Thanks Tom :)
Is this not a re-upload? Edit: nevermind lol
No it isn't, the other video was a pre trial run for this challenge.
Beau would be proud mate. Goodonya.
Love to see a tribute to Beau, what a legend
Absolutely buzzing video mate! Looking forward to the next part already. Oh a side note: I indeed think recieving water is allowed. As you said, you can get it free from a tap anyway so if anything you are recieving the bottle for free and the bottle you can not eat now can ya? So perfectly fine
Fantastic. I've been watching Clarkson's Farm and couldn't get the thought of you doing a straight line mission across it out of my head. Getting chased by Jeremy himself would be perfect.
I've had that thought myself. Could do a Hawkstone sponsorship for them!
Inventory graphic is top notch
This month I’ve found £1.67 this month on floor lol I always pick it up and put in coin pot it all adds up
Have you thought of visiting the paris catacombs?
No-one suffers for us more than Tom.
This is my Super Sunday
Girlfriends gonna be fuming, now we’ve got F1, Premier League football AND Geowizard on the big screen today
The ideas this man comes up with lol.
Sunday afternoon viewing sorted! Can’t wait for Aldridge Part 2 also :)
Super stoked for this!!
Get in
That’s tonight sorted , cheers Tom - hope you and your family are well

“Babe wake up!”
