I've just watched all 6 eps of this and I'm exhausted. I live around these kind of forests in Sweden and while we get a few fall down every time the wind blows i've never seen anything as extreme as this.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy your videos Tom. Thanks for doing these missions. Congratulations and please never stop doing them! I'd love to see you even do other types of series you haven't done yet. 1. Following a river from source to sea. 2. Overnight in Britain's most haunted places/urban exploration. 3. Finding ancient or forgotten ruins using only historic maps and a compass. 4. Throw a dart at a UK map and traveling to that location using as many modes of transportation as possible. Do some sort of side mission once you reach the destination. 5. Straight line across one of the Shetland Islands. I know you don't need me for ideas, I just like putting ideas out there.
This has been a rollercoaster of emotions, thank you for sharing, I took over the couch and told anyone I need not to be disturbed while I see the conclusion of this epic mission, congrats!

I never thought, i'd end up actually emotional out of proudness over a straight line mission - but thems the ways
Congrats! Superb and heartwarming video. Surprised you went on into an active hunting field. With all the (understandable) fuzz around fallen trees, I wouldn't have expected you to do something this dangerous. I want to point out the small editing effect at 48:37 (https://youtu.be/wGA6fun0Tjc?t=2917): A fast-forward skipping over the not-quite-as-interesting section. It's really satisfying to watch, and I kinda wish we could see your entire run this way. I know, pretty much impossible because of dim sections and you're not recording all the time due to battery preservings. But still... I kinda wish. It would also be well-suited for conveying the hardness of some of the terrain you're going through. A quick googling did *not* yield results for a feasible ultra long battery life lightweight low-res outside video camera anyways. So I'm not trying to backseat drive here, simply wanting to point out that I really liked this 3 second section :)

I've had my fill of straight lines for a couple of months now, but this autumn, I'll make my first attempt at it, albeit it being over five times shorter than this monumental effort. Oi, just finished!! What an adventure, what a tale, thank you so much again. (Aside... I myself have noticed just how popular zero-alcohol beers have been getting lately, here in the US at least. The increasing demand has gotten the breweries to become quite good at them, and a lot of them I truly enjoy, when they were all comical shit just a couple years ago. All that to say, it tickled me to see Verity able to join Tom and Ben in having a pint! 🍻 😃

Well we know that the line ends close to that castle and if you go to the first episode he probably shows a map of the start point, with some kinda place name on it. Then you can just make a straight line from there to the castle(:
