Meet Alfey the Hall Monitor & Jake the Deliquent from Kingswood Academy!

While you might have caught a sneak peek of them in the initial reveal & prototype, here is their official debut with their completed 2D sprites

Jake and Alfey hail from the Modern World and belong to Kingswood Academy. A faction inspired by prestigious European prep schools, caught in a perpetual tug-of-war between strict discipline and rebellion.

How Factions Work Factions aren't just for lore; they also play a role in combat. While every unit originates from one primary World Faction, they can also hold secondary faction tags.

• Faction Ultimates: Deploying multiple units from the same faction unlocks a unique, high-impact Faction Ultimate Skill that you can trigger manually in battle. Since these abilities allow you to directly intervene and swing the tide of combat, they carry a longer cooldown/

• Collect Your Favorites: Whether you're optimizing your team or simply trying to collect every preppy boy in a uniform, completing your set is planned to be half the fun. Factions give you clear collection goals to chase, letting you build out your ideal roster piece by piece.

Expect a massive variety of factions to collect and deploy. From RPG classics like the Thief’s Guild or the noble Order of Knights (which Gawain belongs), to superhero team-ups like the xXx-Men (working title) from the Hero World.

And for school fans, Kingswood Academy is only the beginning. I'm also working on more thematic school factions like Seiryu Gakuen (if you love classic Japanese school anime) and Tianshan Institute.
