🔧 Temporary Workaround That Does Allow My CC to Work

Hello, everyone!

With a little deep-diving, I've discovered that some players have found a temporary workaround that lets CC load again, and I tested it with my own files — it works for my CC. This is not an official fix, and it may not work for everyone, but I wanted to share it so you can use my content in the meantime.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Move ALL of your CC directly into your main Mods folder

No subfolders at all — everything must be loose in the Mods directory.

2. Pull out any script-heavy mod folders for now

Players are reporting that mods like:

• MCCC

• T.O.O.L.

• Better BuildBuy

…can freeze or hang the game after the update. So for the moment, pull those folders out of your Mods folder entirely and set them aside.

3. Regular CC (.package files) should load again

This includes CAS CC, Build/Buy CC, overlays, makeup, clothing, etc.

My CC loads correctly using this method — I included a screenshot of my Mods folder so you can see how it should look.

Important notes:

• This is only a temporary workaround

• It may cause longer load times since everything is in one place

• You’ll probably want to reorganize once the issue is officially fixed

• Script mods will still stay broken until updated

I’ll keep updating you as soon as we get more information or a confirmed fix.
