27/09/2025: I tested the water bottle again and I cannot trigger the crash some people have been reporting ( see video ). This didn't need updating but I re-uploaded the file I have in my folder in case the other one had a problem or something.

Optional Files:
Removes the grab drink interaction from bathroom sinks and the brush teeth interaction from kitchen sinks. Works both with "don't wash dishes where you angry poop" and maxis room designation.
Download Interactions Blocker
Adds cheats to fill and disable hidden motives decay to the mailbox (in the same place as maxis cheats with the same function) and fill hidden needs to sims.
Download Cheats
Removes the moodlets from visible thirst making the drinkable bottle a stand-alone object, this requires the main Visible Thirst file.
Download Exclude Visible Thirst Gameplay
Hidden needs that exist in vanilla game but are invisible, thirst and hands hygiene affect autonomy, oral hygiene does nothing at all. These mods make those needs visible and add some gameplay.
Hands Hygiene
Hands Hygiene goes down with basically every interaction in game, so I made it go down slower. A moodlet will tell you when it's time for your Sims to wash their hands, not much more to say about this one.
Thirst
Sims will suffer the consequences of going too long without drinking, they'll start feeling dazed and will collapse if you ignore the need. The mod comes with a refillable water bottle you can buy in build mode under appliances - misc (the object requires growing together), it comes in 9 colours:

Oral Hygiene
This need is only added the first time your Sim brushes their teeth!
Until then, the mod does nothing. Once the need is added the Sims can suffer the consequences of going to long without brushing their teeth. if you ignore the need for to long they can get caries and will need to visit a dentist (from the phone, no excessive micromanaging involved)
Cheats:
There are cheats to lock the motives decay in a separate package. "Under Cheat Sim Info", where all the other needs go.

Hey dude I’m stupid or something and I’m downloading the wrong thing. Could you tell me what I need to download just to drink from the waterbottle and not get the thirst moodlets? I just wanted it for storytelling when my sims are at tge gym and stuff. I dont actually want them to be dehydrated.

Hi! I love your mod, but could you please make the Cottage Living bottle milk filtered out from autonomous drinking, or at least reduce the chance of sims grabbing it from the fridge? When the water bottle is empty, my sims become obsessed with drinking bottle milk 😭 Since I play with Simple Living, I constantly end up with no milk left for recipes after them.
i dont seem to be getting the thirsty / dazed moodlets no matter how long i have my sims not drink water...

i dont know if I placed in my mods right but when I press on the water bottle my games closes. do i need to do anything to make it work?

No. I don't use scripts, everything relies on the Core Library to work.
How can I totally remove this mod from my Save? Even after I delete everything in the Mod folder and clearing "cachestr" folder I still have Dazed townies creepily move like zombies. Literally have to make a fresh Sims 4 folder, I rather have my Sims drink everything all over again.
The dazed mood from this mod doesn't cause Sims to move like zombies. It's also blocked from being given to NPCs, only the played household Sims can get it. It has no effect besides the emotion. I suspect the buff you're getting is not from this mod.
will this be updated? The Thirst mod was the one crashing my game.
Hey, so there's a bug within the water bottle. I can only put it back in inventory and if it's in the inventory already I can only set it to favourite. I can't do anything else. I was wondering how to fill up the bottle because the interactions didn't change at all when I set it near the sink and dragging it to the sink doesn't work either, until I looked at the water bottle section of this mod's page and realized it's a bug. Selling it and buying a new one doesn't help either!
Hi, I was really looking forward to trying this mod, but unfortunately after I bought the bottle and placed it in the game, the moment I tried to interact with it, the game crashed. I just downloaded your mod today.

I've been using these mods since late February, and I love them! But as of today, each time I try to click on the bottle to either refill it or place in in the world from a sim's inventory or vice versa, it crashes the whole game 3 seconds later. This has happened about 5 time now. Idk what's going on

I’ve got a bug where, each time my sim fills up the bottle, it automatically changes the colour swatch to the white one. It could be a new bug from the latest update, I’m not sure as I’ve just downloaded the mod…
Well that's fucking hilarious, yes it's likely from the new patch. I'll see if it's fixable.
I tried placing the bottle and right after that my game craches tree times in a row at the exact same time. When I have placed the bottle. But now I have tested again and it workes. I had just missed that extra file we need to use tis mod. The one from Lot 51. With it, no crash.
That issue seems related to something with the Sims inventory. I only encountered it once when coming back from Baatu and I've yet to understand how I fixed it.

I have the thirst module in, and I walked away from my game while it was loading in a household and I got back to it after it had been running a bit . My sim's water bottle was in his inventory but empty. He had a parched moodlet with "20 hrs" left on it. He passed out on the floor (I was afraid he was dead!). I'm assuming the cause was thirst? But all the time he had many cans of beverages in his personal inventory that he didn't autonomously drink (I had put them there for just such an occasion). Why didn't he drink the beverages he had?I'm wondering if the mod somehow blocked him form doing so, since this is what they normally would do.
Cause not all interactions are allowed from Sims inventory, otherwise they'd leave the stuff around. Consumables in particular can't be put back into the inventory if taken out when empty, so I guess maxis didn't allow autonomous drinking from the inventory for most of them (my water bottle has no autonomy tuned whatsoever). I've never seen a sim drink anything at all from the inventory.

I liked the way they worked together before but after reupdating Brush Teeth option appears on every sink again. Is there a way to have a version for those mod users? I really dont like my sims to brush teeth in the kitchen))

Hi! Not sure if I may have some mod that conflicts (I don't think I have anything that would affect sinks tho), but I am having some options removed from sinks with 2 of the modules. For thirst module, "Get water" is removed from sinks- is that intended? I can live with that one, but with the Oral Hygiene module it removes the option to Brush Teeth. Any thoughts?

I have a lot of trouble getting to find how the oral hygiene work and the autonomy of it i see the hands and thirst one but not the oral one in your autonomy toggle even after brushing the teeth. The bottle of water for the thirst mod is really bugged cause my sims wont stop cleaning it like dishes and its really annoying i had to rebuy the bottle 4 time before i could get it full and in my inventory
When do they clean it as díshes? The autonomous brushing teeth can be disabled at the moment. I'm trying to fix the issue with the bottle

My fave tier Modders: Zero Tmex SacJr SrslySims Turbo Literally the game is deemed unplayable without those. And Zero's mods are the only ones that expanded on GP features in RoM and Vampires, as well as effectively stopping so many annoying gameplay shit.

If you have "don't wash dishes where you angry poop", try disabling the dish washing on the sink (if the interaction doesn't appear even then, I'll remove the test)
How do you exctly get your sims to brush their teeth? Since Installing the oral hygiene mod, the brush teeth option completely disappeared.
