Vintage WIPs #4
I'll keep it very very brief today, as I'm hard at work on the woven belts and kind of in a rush (I'm going to visit my fams in Poland over Easter and will stay there for some 3 weeks, which means if I don't get the stuff done till next Saturday I'll be able to do it only in May - and that's something I'd really like to avoid, both for you and for myself - this project has been going on for way too long and I can't imagine coming back home after 3 weeks with the prospect of having to return to this dug up mess - I want to finally be able to plan things, to think of something new and exciting!). So, instead of text, I'll flood you with pictures of my fails (and, in the end, some successes) from the past week. The thing is, this project is HUGE; so many meshes and packages to keep track of that I'm... well... losing track. And making some really silly noob mistakes. Like forgetting to weight paint stuff. Or vertex paint. And then I go into the game and wonder why things look so bad 🤭
Here, enjoy. Maybe it'll make someone chuckle or serve as some kind of reminder that just because the end result looks good (which it hopefully will) doesn't mean there were no hiccups on the way - so if you're struggling with your cc, high five friend, don't worry, that's perfectly normal! ✋
Let's hope I make it till Saturday. Till then!
