Early Access // This Week's Video
Hello there! I needed a little bit of a chiller project as I was working on things for this month, so I decided to finally make a higher contrast shield beetle brooch so that I could stare at some sequins for a little while. As much as I would like to make one of these in black too, I figured I should focus on choosing colors that will actually stand out against black clothes instead, seeing as we all know which color I wear most 😅
Thank you so much for your support! I'll see many of you soon in the cape/coat project I have coming to patreon this week!

I love the concept of shield beetle brooches. They are so cool! >.< Btw, do you have any news from your secret project? Did they keep you updated?
Thank you! Sadly no news yet, they have acknowledged they received my sample materials, but I haven't gotten feedback/an update yet 😵💫
Any word on the secret ...um.. colab.?
Alas sadly not yet! Other than the old "we hope to be getting back to you about the sample materials..." run around deal 🤔
What do you think of Michele Carragher’s embroidered insects from the Qarth scenes in Game Of Thrones?
I love Michelle Carragher's work in general! Especially the work she did for her "Trace" series 🤩
Wondering whether they have Bertie Beetles in the US?
I had to google that so I don't think so 😅❤️
There is never ever such a thing as too many beaded bug beetle videos…🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞
I loved that so much! I now want to make a beaded cat! (Like I need more projects).
Thank you Wendy! Cats are always a good idea ❤️
I love watching your beading videos. They are so relaxing. Would you consider creating a beading bat brooch? Also can’t wait to see the moth designs
Thank you Rachael! I would definitely consider a bat, though I would need to make it a fuzzy bat for sure 🤩
Yay! More beaded beetle buddies!!
I have a bunch of shield beetles that loves to get into my house this shield beetle is much cuter
Jeweled is always better than real 😅
I am a beader, (evidenced by my profile pic), so I always enjoy your beading videos the most! Thank you for this one, I am looking forward to watching it.
