Excellent! You have a flare for accessorizing each look. You could easily be in a film noire from the 40s. Thank you so much for all of your quality work and inspiration!

Another masterpiece Bianca! Proof that your broach/clutch/jewelry hoarding serves a very important purpose! All the accessories make everything so cohesive and elegant. Look seven is a great example of that. Love the sinister cyber corporate espionage vibe. Looking forward to seeing your process for some of these pieces. 🖤

This look-book is stunning, I need to make everything! I became a Patreon because of this video on YouTube. You are a amazing and cannot wait to try out the pattern drafting. Thank you for sharing your process, I am learning so much! You always have such a smooth gorgeous silhouette, how do you do it?

T
The Closet Historian · March 22, 2023

Thank you so much Rachael! All smoothing is just regular Target brand 'spanx' shorts things or control top tights and a longline Rago brand bra 😅✨

This is so fantastic! I love the how all of the elements come together to create such a cool piece of art - the editing, the graphics, the music, the wonderful outfits (especially how you pair accessories with various clothing items!). You have really been leveling up your lookbook game, and I'm just so in awe of each and every one you've made! Thank you for all your hard work!

From Elizabeth in California: OMG - wonderful video! If I could flash back 50 years to the start of my working career, I would be sewing up these types of outfits and wearing them daily for work and killer evening wear! Thank you so much for this pure enjoyment of my favorite fashions and the color BLACK! I promise to do this in my next life......lol

T
The Closet Historian · March 18, 2023

Thank you Elizabeth! I'm lucky that I get to set the dress code at TCH 😂🧵

Loved this! Came out great!! Bravo! So many awesome looks. I can't choose a fave, but if I have to, I love that stretchy crushed velvet knit dress. It looks so comfy, and the texture looks so fun! I love that black cotton sateen 40s dress too! I've watched all your videos & I do remember that one. But, gives me an excuse to watch it again :)

T
The Closet Historian · March 18, 2023

Thank you Mel! That stretch velvet fabric is too good 🤩

Magda Mazur · March 15, 2023

From the editing to the styling - it’s crazy good. Honestly, lately every next one is even more impressive than the previous one, so I can’t wait what will come next. For now I will be rewatching this 29468 times 😂 Do I have legs nice enough to pull off that high slit? No, probably not. Do I want that skirt? Yeah…

T
The Closet Historian · March 18, 2023

Thank you Magda!! 🖤

Absolutely Gorgeous! I was a manager at Macy's some 30 yrs ago and I too loved the I.N.C. brand. Back then I sewed my own outfits/suits for work and bought the infant/children's I.N.C. for my daughter. ( Funny back them customers would ask if my outfit was available it the store and I would tell them I made it from a vogue pattern.) I haven't sewn in years and you have inspired me to begin again. Thank You!

T
The Closet Historian · March 17, 2023

Thank you Stephanie! Macy's always seems to have good heels, and good deals on heels, so I end up on their website too often 😂✨

Maeghi · March 14, 2023

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh I love everything about this! The music, the styling, your hair, the editing, and every single garment choice! It's very corp goth meets techno Disney villain and I'm a million percent here for it! Side note, I just finished a jacket inspired by your cyberpunk jacket, but did peplums and it's suuuper similar to the jacket in looks 6/8. I'm like, weirdly giddy that we had the same general idea.

T
The Closet Historian · March 17, 2023

Thank you Maeghi! "Be the Disney villian you want to see in the world" is my moto ✨ I can't stop making jackets!

Flatbattery Makes · March 14, 2023

Me! Me! I wanna be a 1940's villain... Stunning work, as ever but I have to admit I got over excited as soon as the opening credits closed.... * Me, 27 seconds in* "Oh my gawd, That's my umbrella!! ...I have that umbrella too". Never mind the glorious wardrobe, set, lighting, editing & score... I got excited over a light up umbrella 🤣😂🤣

T
The Closet Historian · March 17, 2023

Thank you! This is a replacement light up umbrella for me 😂 I have NO IDEA where my first one is, it's in this house somewhere but I gave up and bought this second one 🤦‍♀️

Eleventh Hour Panic Productions · March 14, 2023

When I first saw that '40s jacket with the color blocking down the center front, I was curious if you'd made that or not since it is very much The Vibe™. I like the way you used a solid to sort of outline a bold print in the Look Eleven dress. Very cool look

T
The Closet Historian · March 17, 2023

Thank you Danielle! That vintage jacket stole my heart when I saw it previewed on instagram, and then when it was just my size...it was over for me 😅🖤

C
Concetta · March 14, 2023

T
The Closet Historian · March 17, 2023

Thank you Concetta! It's always my goal to get people sewing, so it's great to hear that 😊❤
