Sketch for Mandragora Suit
Here is my current plan for the Mandragora silk suit with beetle and moth embroidery 🕸️🧵 I'll have to see how the black bat mock up goes, so small things may change on this, but the general idea is in place! And yes I think I want to try and make a matching hat with say beetles along a velvet hat band...

Sweeeeeet! And congrats on your travel plans! We had elderly neighbors who were always planning to travel in retirement and they kept putting it off for various (and often valid) reasons. You guessed it! They died without going anywhere they had planned: Greek Isles, Europe, Arctic cruise, etc :( It wasn’t money, but family stuff …. I’m so glad you’re going!! Just think of it as another tickmark on the master plan. See, this is true productivity :)

Black velvet hatband you say, how tall is the crown to be? I’m very interested in millinery, I’m making plans to learn to needle felt and wet felt so as to combine the two in order to make a particular hat because it’s fun
