After receiving several requests I realized I had better show how the "realtor in Tomorrowland" dress from the Shine look book was made. The process is familiar to my other color blocked projects, but I just can't stop!

More more more! So cool
Thank you Traci!
I'd like to see how to make hats. They add so much drama to a costume.
Thank you Charlotte! I have a few hat videos over on the channel of both historic and 1940s styles ❤
More of these videos you ask? Yes please!
Thank you Amie!
Love this dress! Gorgeous on you! I really like the colour combinations of the colour blocking that you’ve shown us here and in the Shine look book. Very classy 💕 Hope you got the time you needed for writing. That’s so important. I always enjoy the content that you share with us. Happy to see more creations with shiny fabric / colour combinations. Sending best wishes from Down Under 💚💚💚💚🌺🌸💐🇦🇺😎
Thank you Rhonda!
This dress creates more of an optical illusion than the first one. It's neat how you do that! For those of us not very curvy and with long legs, I can see a pair of cute tapered leg pants in this colour blocked design. Also, you angled your feet nicely in the pose for the original dress. Growing up, I was taught to be mindful of foot placement when being photographed. My grandmother was really good at it! Anyway, it looks very nice.
Thank you Penny! It's watching all the old Thierry Mugler shows and watching how the models pose for inspiration 😅
As always....SOOOOOOO cute!
Thank you!
Fantastic dress. The dress design is awesome. Would love to see in A-Line skirt!
Thank you Bobbie!
LOVE IT! And, I love your hair too! Would you do a tutorial?
Thank you! I didn't do my hair in any special way I'm afraid, its just curled and then the sides held back with grip tuth combs is all https://rb.gy/awriva
"After receiving several requests" acting like you weren't just going to do this anyway lol.
I really wasn't actually 😅 I had a plan to make a lightweight floral spring dress, but I wasn't in a springy floral mood anyway 😂
Unrelated to this post. But since you watch anime sometimes, I had to recommend this show. It's called Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan. It's a slice of life, dark comedy. One of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Just hysterical. It's on funimation and crunchyroll. https://www.funimation.com/shows/life-lessons-with-uramichi-oniisan/ https://www.crunchyroll.com/life-lessons-with-uramichi-oniisan
I love what you did with the mismatched blocks at the side hem. Very architectural.
I loved how you tapered the stripes on the skirt. Great optical illusion! I saw it instantly! Applause!!!!!!
Yessssssss. This made my day.
