Early Access // Tomorrow's Video (A Happy Haunt)
The Halloween look book I mentioned wanting to do in the last podcast woo!
Some may have noticed on Instagram that I have been periodically posting pumpkins (say that five times fast) as I carved all these funny friends used to decorate the set for this video. I'm glad these are faux pumpkins so I can keep them year after year and merely add to the pumpkin family as (hopefully) I acquire more space.
I now have to get working on a dress for next week's video, but I hope you all have a magnificent Halloween. Thank you for your support!

I love your look books. And I stayed for the close ups and extended descriptions. Thank you!
Thank you Jeanette!
I know the look books can be quite a bit of work for you, but they are so fun! The outfits are beautiful and you do a fantastic job writing and performing the narration. 😍
Thank you Jenni!
Thank you for the strobe warning! I am prone to seizures so I didn’t watch. Happy Halloween 🎃👻🎃
Happy Halloween!
This was so fun! Halloween is the best 🎃 (Have you ever read “The American Student” by Washington Irving? I think it would be an amazing look book but done vintage cause it’s a ghost story about the French Revolution!) Loooove the vamp dress, the suit, everything!
Thank you Barbie! I haven't read it so I will have to check it out!!
Love all of these looks! And love all of your little pumpkin friends!!
Thank you Mel! I wish I had a space where the pumpkins could be out year round ❤ One day perhaps!
That red and black striped taffeta kills me every time. I love it so. Great work, Bianca.
Thank you Cheryl!
I loved dancing. As always your lookbooks are perfect. Can I borrow your wardrobe for a couple of days?
Thank you Artemisia! Absolutely 😅
Your lookbooks are what made me hit the subscribe button a while back. Love 'em. This one is splendid - and Halloween is THE BEST - so thank you. It's bizarre to me that lookbooks aren't always the most popular on channels. I few other YTers say this and I do not get it?! There's so much effort and thought that goes into them. It's a mini-fashion show and I'm always here for that.
Thank you Myra! It could be more that the algorithm just doesn't like them and therefore doesn't recommend them as much as other content, Youtube is a weird place 😅 Anything with the word "haul" always does 30% better than any other video, and that seems very "key word" based so who the heck knows what that robot is up too...
Loved it again! My favorite outfits were: The silk vest and skirt outfit, The lacy dress and the gown at the end. Really liked the dancing in between the outfits. It was very clever and fun. And, yes, you do have dancing talent! What type of silk was the vest made with? I really liked the sheen it has. Thanks again for doing this video and Happy Halloween!! OO
Thank you Peggy! The silk vest is made from the color "citrine" dupioni from Silk Baron https://www.silkbaron.com/product_p/7.htm Which is indeed /so/ lovely that I actually bought another yard to make an 18th century stays inspired "corset" top sometime soon 💛
Just lovely!
Thank you Katherine!
Beautiful and fun to watch! The Morticia and faux fur outfits are especially *chef's kiss*
Thank you! I need to make a shorter version of that Morticia dress for day time because it's so comfortable and feels so witchy ✨
Dear Bianca, I'm usually quite lazy with commenting, but I just had to let you know how impressed I am not only by the stunning outfits you sew and pair together, but also the effort you put into your videos. The narration, the effects, the music, the ambience, the set, the editing, ... just everything is so well thought through and matched perfectly. Those are not just lookbook videos, they are a piece of art. Also, is that you singing? Wow! I also really liked the bloopers bit, especially the weird dance. XD Well done, truly!
Thank you! I do have a lot of fun combining all the elements together or these, they get to be tiny little film projects for me. And it was indeed me singing 😅
Omg that lace! Love love love it! And the stripes! And the floor length number! The looks just got better and better!
Thank you Heather!
You look amazing in all of these outfits! I love your style, although sadly don't have the figure or confidence to pull anything like this off. I can live vicariously through watching your look books though 😅
Thank you Beverley!
Hi, This must have been fun to do. The concept is great and the execution brilliant as ever. I'm still in awe over your editing skill. Getting that "magic" going was great to see. Apropos the dress at the end there, I'm struggle with a decision on if I should really try to make myself a one hour day dress or not. I'm fairly sturdy but quite straight up and down so it should work for me theoretically. We then have the issue of not really being any good at sewing straight, and I think that is a requirement when attempting to make clothing. But what the hej (can also be used as the greeting in Swedish with the j sounding like an y), if I don't make something, I'll never going to get any better and I will have bought my beautiful green machine in vain, and need to pack it away and send it on to the next caretaker. The thought of that gives me an knot in my stomach. So tomorrow I'll try to get help through your bloggs, and of course your three marvelous videos on it. and I have a cotton fabric that I don't know why I bought, definitively not because it looks good on me, 'cause it doesn't. In all this rambling why thee reference to your dress at the end. I've been looking at that kind of dress or coat the whole day, with the batwing (?) sleeves all day because it's getting very much like winter is just around the corner and I'm already freezing. I really love your batwing dress. I'm glad that you did this lookbook instead of going straight into your next challenging idea. I hope that your boss have given you some time off to do some writing and maybe even time to do a little bit of reading. Or vice versa of course. Yours, Ann
Thank you Ann ❤ I hope the one-hour-dress behaves for you! Sadly my boss did not approve any writing time, but instead I got sick and had to take several days off in bed! So no work done and no writing, hopefully more of both very soon!
As we say in Canada: "You got it Pontiac!" Your shoes even match your pumpkin! Happy Halloween. 🦉🎃🌮
That giant green pumpkin is one of the real ones and was called a "fairytale pumpkin" so I had to have it 😂
SLAY! PS. The upper left pumpkin with one little tooth is so stinking cute! I look forward to seeing her next year 😍
✨🎃✨
This was so much fun.
Thank you! 🎃
The lacy dress over the light colored slip looks wonderful. Your look books are always a delight and I always discover new ways to style my clothing...and new ideas for more clothing to make.
Thank you Flynn! The to-sew list never ends 😅
I believe they call that the Dolman Shimmy.
