Sewing Room Sneak Peek

I have been cleaning and organizing my sewing room/studio these past few days and tonight I covered the big bulletin board above the blue patterning table of doom in this moody floral canvas. Then I spent my evening making curtains, well, a curtain.

Unfortunately, even as easy as sewing curtains can be...somehow I cut this first panel much shorter than the other!! Oops. So I'll be cutting a piece to patch (hopefully matching the pattern of course) the hem on this panel until I can get another 3 yards of this gorgeous fabric from Ikea to make a new panel. I'm usually so good about measuring several times,  but clearly something went wayward this time.

I adore the darker tone this fabric is bringing to the room, very cozy, and the print manages to tie many of the somewhat random accent colors in the room together really well. I'm rather pleased with how this project is coming together! A video of the mini reno will be coming to the channel soon ❤
