Early Access // This Week's Video
This week I'll be going over the process for making the white and red color blocked dress from Sanctus. I used leftover pieces of sateen I already had kicking around the studio to make this one, so the only new thing I had to get a hold of was some gray heat transfer flock vinyl.
I'm considering over-dyeing this dress with shades of gray and some black at the center, using the ice dye method to try and make it almost look distressed in a "was left on a mannequin in the back of a shop before an apocalypse five decades ago" kind of way. I know this may be a controversial choice...but I also really want to try it!
Thank you for your support, and I'll be back with more fun stuff soon ❤️

I'd love to see how the over-dye turned out and the other white to green dress you mentioned in an update podcast. Maybe an easy video if you already filmed it?
The dress is lovely, and I don't wear white either, so I can see that you would want to over dye it. I really enjoyed watching this video. Love that little 2 seater chair too. More for posing than slouching in though no?
I adore this red and white color block dress! Stunning for Summer. Simple, well constructed style.
Ice dyeing for the win…fingers and toes are crossed…please let this happen for you my friend…🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞
I really love how you do the vinyl heat transfers, I wish I had the equipment to do it too, it makes the clothes so unique. As for the dye, definitely go for it, sounds much more like you. Can't wait to see how it goes x
It's weird seeing you in white. You should absolutely over-dye it if you want, and I think the apocalypse ice dye could be interesting.
This is stunning as always! I need to figure out my silhouette cameo machine so I can use your designs but it’s proving more difficult than anticipated
Definitely go for it!
what a stunning dress! if i may, i would encourage you to overdye it if you think it would make you wear the dress more! and what a fun process too. perhaps a blue/purple dye would bring the red sections to a nice aubergine! grey/black sounds cool too - like its collected soot and ash over time. i also steer clear of white, its sheer and i cannot be trusted to keep it clean of spills lol
