Hardware build: CRC calculation
CRC (cyclic redundancy check) involves some intimidating math. But it turns out that it can all be done with some fairly simple hardware. In this video, I build the hardware to compute and verify CRCs.
As always, I appreciate your support and any feedback. Barring any big issues you find, I plan to publish this video Sunday morning.
Thanks again!

Mind blown!
Any chance you could include a parts list? I'm still in 'monkey see, monkey do' mode and having all the parts in front of me makes it easier to follow along. And thanks again for these videos.
I think I'm in love with CRC now that I know how it works. So elegant.
Your breadboards are pieces of art !
Found a few minor details, no biggies. Commented in youtube.
I just saw (what I think are) your comments. They were somehow auto-flagged as spam, so I missed them before. But glad I caught them—while minor, you're right about the meaning of the init value which should be pretty easy to fix. You're also right about the character set not being ASCII, but I'll probably just let that slide at this point—it's not really important to understanding anything about the protocol. Thanks for the feedback!
