College Football Is Back... and I’ve Been Busy
With the FBS season kicking off tomorrow, this feels like the right time to share what I’ve been building across CollegeFootballData.com and Rad Sports over the past few months.
The CFBD API now offers CORE ratings, structured College Football Playoff data, deeper coach and player endpoints, expanded FCS coverage, and conference history. I've also launched a new API documentation portal and My Season Workbench, improved account self-service on CollegeFootballData.com, and made CSV exports more complete and reliable.
A substantial amount of work happened behind the scenes as well. The platform is ready with 2026 schedules, lines, rosters, and other data. I corrected more than 15,000 garbage-time classifications and completed major cleanups involving recruiting data, venues, attendance, athlete history, and team metadata.
Elsewhere, I’ve published four new CFB data and development packs, three bundles, and a growing collection of tutorials and project ideas through Rad Sports Analytics. Model Pick’em now has searchable profiles and better head-to-head discovery, while Score Bot received rebuilt commands, improved alerts, and a much better administration experience.
