8 years ago, The Spider-Lair started as an idea I honestly never expected would grow into what it is today. What began as a passion project for a group of my friends eventually became my full time job. This community is what puts food on my table and keeps a roof over my head, and that’s something I never take for granted. The support this community has shown me over the years has genuinely changed the path my life takes. I especially want to thank our patrons. Your support is the reason I’ve been able to keep building, improving, and expanding The Spider-Lair all these years later. Every update, event, and new idea has only been possible because people believed enough in this project to support it. Our supporters haven't just uplifted the community, they have supported me directly as a creator and allowed me to dedicate my life to this world full time, and beyond.

What’s always meant so much to me is the Lair's people. Watching friendships form, seeing people create memories together, make avatars and videos, teach each other new skills, and hearing how much this community means to others is something I’ll never fully be able to put into words. The Spider-Lair became so much bigger than a VRChat world a long time ago. It became a home for a lot of people, myself included.

There have been a lot of late nights and challenges behind the scenes over the years, but every time I see people enjoying the world, attending events, or simply spending time together here, it reminds me why I started this in the first place. To everyone who has spent time with this community in any way, thank you. Whether you’ve been here 8 years or 8 days, you’ve helped shape The Spider-Lair into what it is today.

It’s honestly surreal to say we’ve made it to 8 years. Thank you all for believing in me, believing in this community, and continuing to help keep it alive.
