Weekly report 325
Hi everybody.
Happy first day of August. I hope you're all feeling well and had a great week. Here's a summary of our work:
Chestnut:
We published a teaser for all patrons last week, and if you haven't seen it yet, here it is: Melon Twins. I can tell you there's nothing more gratifying than creating characters and then seeing people respond positively to them, so thank you to all of you who left comments. The twins will only have scenes in one quest (Joy's first quest -- based on our current notes), but we will likely see them around in the village in the Main Story update together with other villagers (subject to change, of course, until we do the planning phase of 0.9 and 0.10). Chestnut worked on redoing one of the sex scenes and retouching two earlier cutscenes.
Pistachio:
As for me, I'm almost done with the bugs I had listed about a week ago. I think I'll finish them by Monday (Tuesday at the latest), and then I'll spend two days testing the game to see how things work. Then, I want to go through the game's audio again from the beginning and make sure I haven't missed anything. I plan to do three things after that: continue polishing the game until I can't find any issues, add the art to the game when it's ready, and if I have extra time, think of WaL's next updates. For 0.9, I don't want to just plan 0.9; I want us to plan the entire Main Story (not just notes for main plot points, but the complete questline).

When will version 0.8 be available for download?
we do have planned release dates, but I'd rather not announce them in case we find bugs or some of the fixes take longer than expected. i'll report it once we're nearly done, and are testing the game externally. and of course you'll get a message from us here with download links when the update drops
It's a good call to focus on the Main story and plotlines from here on and out. Don't get me wrong, i enjoy playing the content you release and I am looking forward to play the next release as well but I've really always been more interested in the main story even from the beginning when i started playing the game. And now I'm actually really excited to learn more of the plot going forward. It's a gem you are making and it's fun to play and the main story is a fun fairytale to explore. Looking forward to learn more of how the story is going to evolve. Thumbs up!
