Weekly report 218

Hi everybody,

Happy Friday! I hope you're feeling well and are looking forward to your weekend.

This will be a short report, as this week, Chestnut and I worked on the same bit of content, focusing on a number of annoying bugs directly resulting from the revamped events I had added recently. Most of these issues were visual, but they also needed to be coded differently, so we were both busy working on them. Chestnut has finished her part, but I think I'll need the weekend to wrap up my section of the work and move on to other fixes.

We still haven't gone through the recent additions of the second quest. It's hard to stop our work when we're midway through a particular task, but we definitely need to get to that next week. You can also expect a video next week.

That's all, and thank you everyone for being so patient. I promise we will not delay the game any more than necessary, and these fixes and new content are, unfortunately, necessary. We have plans on how to do things differently from the next update onward to avoid another lengthy dev period, so I'm fairly confident we won't have another update that takes this long. For 0.7, though, all we can do is work every day and try to finish it in as fast and as good a way as we can, and hopefully you will enjoy the result of our work.

Anyway, we'll get there soon.

Have a great weekend.
Cheers!
