Another example I can give is Tails. I relate to him along with his alternates from Sonic Prime. In a way I see different parts of myself through them individually. Mangey reminds me of when I was a kid and was obsessed with the world but feeling guarded. Sails reminds me of my own sense of self being put off to the side to ‘fit in’. And Nine… don’t get me started! Nine feels like my other half or ‘the me I could’ve been’ like how his world didn’t have a Sonic to protect and comfort him. It would be like a world where I didn’t have my Mamaw in my formative years before her passing.

I will say I personally feel kinda uncomfortable around pets cause of my OCD issues involving germs(and also concern about potentially getting scratched or bitten, apparently if a cat bites you then you need medical attention ASAP due to some parasites that are in their saliva or something like that).

Sonic actually got me into hair metal as many of the vocalists on the songs feature in the games were in hair metal bands(Hardline's Johnny Gioelli, Danger Danger's Ted Poley, Rough Cutt's Paul Shortino, Gunnar Nelson of the band Nelson, TNT's Tony Harnell).

I will say GTA V is one of my favorite games of all time, never felt overwhelming to me, open-world games also appeal to aspies like myself because we like going around and getting collectibles and doing side missions and whatnot.

first video game i ever played was Sonic 2 thanks to my cousin(RIP Jackie), Sonic's always been there for me through thick and thin and I never got the hate that many had for the 3-D games.

I can't really play the sonic games because there to fast for me and the 3D ones give me motion sicknes 😅. I love watching there cutscenes though and see the story unfold and i love some of the Sonic cartoons. My favourite characters in particulair are Cream and Cheese, there just the cutest and sweetst chracters around 😊. I can't say anything about he comics since i didn't really grew up with them.
