Video: Thomas Review - Henry Gets Out (Ep 4)
Probably my favourite 2 episodes so far. These two episodes did such a great job getting me invested in Henry as a character. After seeing him leave his indefinite tunnel prison, it gave his character alot more nuance and emotional ups and downs.

So, the stories from the first book were Edward and Gordon, The Sad Story of Henry, and this episode. Thomas and Gordon was book 2’s first story, with season 1 episodes 5-7 being what happened after Thomas went slowly home. A notable change is that in the first two books, Topham Hatt was not yet knighted, and he was only a director on the railway board, not the controller.
Henry is my favorite Thomas character of all time.
Sir Topham Hatt really does love to stand on top of stuff!
yeah, I really do like the character arc Henry goes through. This is definitely my favourite season 1 episode!
