Early side-project: The Cartoon That Breaks AI
Just a little passion project that I started when I discovered AI couldn't figure out this particular writer's artwork or words. Dr Seuss' writing and artwork has inspired me since I was a child so I wanted to share my thoughts. Next vid I'll be out with a main project which has the full patron credits and readout :) Thank you for your kind support this February.

The unexpected hero we need right now!
If you use the usual generators (and only a few words as a prompt), I think you won't get better results than the ones you got. However, there is something called "LoRA". With that you can fine tune AI generators to the styles you want. So far, I only found one LoRA that can more or less replicate the style. Sure, with mistakes, but at least to me it's quite close judging by the images on the LoRA page. Which is very unfortunate... but as you said in the video, AI can't replicate imagination. There's another LoRA/character generator that tries to replicate the style, but fails miserably xD the characters look just like generic children's book characters.
I misread "LoRA" as "Lorax" at first 😂
Based on what I know about how AI image generation works, my best guess is that it’s because, when it comes to Dr. Seuss, it’s difficult to predict what is and isn’t considered a character. Like, because he can bring basically anything to life and justify it, the AI will always default to the only thing that it is certain is a character: its version of the cat in the hat. Granted, I don’t know as much about How the whole process works as someone else, but that’s the best explanation I have 🤷
Honestly that theory makes alot of sense to me. It's hard to predict how the Dr Seuss art will look and that's part of the beauty of it
Well I'm glad AI Can't Fight against Dr Suess. It's NO Match
I suspect Dr Seuss himself would be quite pleased with this.
Little did Dr. Seuss know that every made up word and wacky imagery he created would serve as insurance against AI.
Ooh I love Dr Seuss. Sounds like a great video
