Happy new year! I don’t usually do New Year’s resolutions but this year I’d like to try and spend less time scrolling on Instagram and YouTube shorts. I’ve noticed that I’ve been scrolling a lot lately and it’s taken a toll on my attention span so I think that cutting down on that would be beneficial to my well being. (And I live in the US, so I’m gonna need to really take care of myself for the next four years 🥲) Thank you for being such a warm, friendly presence. I’m looking foreward to seeing what you do in 2025!!
I think that's a great choice of resolution 😀 Personally I've been trying to limit my Twitter time and mostly stick to BlueSky. And I definitely agree with not getting too caught up in US news for the 4 years (or social media comments for that matter lol). Sending best wishes from Australia 🙂
Happy new year Josh! Personally, I haven't really done New Year's resolutions in past years, but this year I kind of have some reasonable art-related resolutions/goals for the year. My biggest goals are to sell more commissions and design more adoptables, but I also do want to practice and experiment with anatomy/clothing/colors/etc.

hey strider! my plans for this year are to either go to uni, or get my first job! it’s been about five years since i left school, so i really want to start being a more productive member of society. i hope your year goes well!
Good luck this year in finding a job you like or heading to university Bethany! I tried a couple of different jobs before I went to unversity to try and get a feel for what I enjoyed. Computer repair actually ended up being among my favourite jobs. Hopefully you find something you enjoy too!
My New Years resolution is to finally finish decorating my apartment (hanging stuff on the walls) and finish unpacking. I moved into my apartment in August 2022 and since have a lot of junk to get rid of. Unfortunately, I am usually busy working 12-14 days a week between two jobs, so my energy is usually drained a lot. I have not even had a chance to send out my Christmas cards yet.
I totally get that. I have a bunch of stuff in my wardrobe I need to throw out and need to clean out my kitchen drawers but its just so easy to put off when feeling tired ya know? I should set organising my house as one of my new years goals too
Don't worry Strider, you're not the only one who is struggling with their energy, it's been pretty tough recently in the US. I have lots of projects and plans that I want to do that I can't seem to get the motivation for, and it makes me feel like I'm being lazy and unproductive. Just like you, I have a lot to be grateful for, but there's just some feelings within me that I can't really shake off, and it seems to take away my energy somehow. Regardless, I look forward to your future videos, no matter how long it takes. And if you do review Chex Quest for the cereal video games, quake in fear for I (kinda/sorta) have the world record speedrun for Chex Quest (for a specific port).
