Devlog 20 : Projects and basis

Hey there, I come to you AT THE VERY LAST SECOND OF JANUARY

For a monthly devlog.

For this devlog, I won't go into details in the games as well, I haven't made any progress for now.

As to why no progress were made, well, I'll get into it right now.

Basically, I'm filled with a lot of amazing ideas and projects, which include but are not limited to Project: Jericho & Tales of Unity.

Now, as some of y'all may know, I'm a 23 year old dude living at his mom's.

And that leads to a lot of potential issues, advantages and of course dilemmas.

First of all I live on the whims of my surroundings, I can't really work when I want to, nor can I work freely as well honestly, my mother doesn't approve of my job, on patreon which while she won't actively care, she still won't really feel fine about it.

Second of all, I'm in a financial mess, even with the gov's help which already punctions my time, and the fact that Patreon is unreliable for now because of my struggle with work.

Still, I've got a whole new approach to my projects to ease the preassure on my shoulder, which to summarize is "Do what you want" I used to preassure myself into animating a set number of renders and animations even if it had to burn me out.

Not anymore, the second I can work, I'll do what I want, the way I want to do it.

But to come back to my situation I've come to realize that I need to get in a good spot IRL before being able to build anything.

Therefore I'm looking for a small part time job to atleast be able to afford a small measure of comfort and safety, alongside finally fitting the bill to get my own flat.

Unfortunately, it takes time, but I did make a lot of efforts and it did pay to a measure, regardless, by september 2024 AT MOST I should have my own place as I plan on going back to college to atleast ensure said safety.

Once I'll actually have my own well, territory I'll be able to work stress free and finally work without the need to live one way or another.

Things are actually looking up for me, and I'm grateful to the people that still read me and even more grateful to the people that still drop a coin on Patreon despite the lengthy break, TRUST me your support still is what keeps my small raft afloat, and I'll be sure to proprely find a way to repay your kindness and trust.
